A cold bath will reduce your body temperature but you will end up sweating when you get out, a hot bath will be more relaxing and you will feel cold when you get out. id recommend a hot bath with lots of bubbles and a refreshing drink.

Cold water makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack!
I used to have freezing showers in India before the water tank on the roof had warmed up and it surprised me every time |

I've been in my daughters giant paddling pool - it's about 3 feet deep and 10 feet accross and fuck knows what my water bill is gonna be like now coz it took half a day to fill but it's freezing and booooootifullllllll....!!! |

Lukewarm is without question the way forward in this weather.
Ordinarily im a "just shy of peeling the skin off my back" back temperature guy, but even I cant deal in this heat. |

Couple years ago I got a 9ft Intex pool with the inflatable ring that lifts the outer rim.
2000 litres to fill, first day was awesome. Went to bed to wake up to find grass and bedding plants had suffered a tsunami in the night. Garden furniture moved.
Ran the CCTV back to mine and next doors cat running around the top in the night, puncturing the ring and collapsing the pool.
The cats were washed down the garden on the wave too... |
