I love Parkgate. Not been for a couple of years. Nice day out if you lump in Neston and dinner on the way home or maybe Chester Open Theatre....
Think I'll retire to Parkgate. What's the winter like there ? |

As you probably well know Granny, the ice cream shop on the front at Parkgate is wonderful and there's nothing like a windswept afternoon ditt looking over to the Mother Country (Wales) with a scummy cornet to lick. Mmmmmmmm. The pavements are a bit shit for wheelchair users though - had to perform some wheelchair gymnastics last time, so may be worth keeping in mind as a retirement venue |
