I jumped in front of a car to save a kid once. Thankfully the car missed us both. My youngest was there at the time, he was maybe 5/6ish and he still brings it up regular to me about being a life saver.

Somewhere In The Ether…

When Ming The Merciless launched an insidious attack on our beloved planet, I along with a reporter named Dale Arden and the somewhat unhinged Dr Hans Zarkov, travelled out to the furthest reaches of space in order to save everyone of us.

.....Yeah!!!

A little village

I don’t think I’m heroic in any sense of the word. My hero is my Dad, who raised me and my 2 sisters by himself whilst holding down a full time job after we lost our mum as little girls. We wanted for nothing and we were loved in abundance, despite his own grief. That’s a hero in my eyes.

It was a hugely traumatic and life changing experience that has taken me over 25 years to process and deal with. But without my Dad, who know what the fate of my sisters and I would have been... He’s not perfect, but he’s a hero to me.
