I know everyone uses filters and stuff. But I have seen some extremely odd sights when viewing some pics on here. Wonky boobs and oversized appendages and muscles in odd places. I was wondering do people just accept the person they see in the pic will be slightly different from the person in real life?? |

I don't need Photoshop to make my boobs wonky...middle agedness has done that naturally for me!! |

I don't use photo shop or filters to edit the shape of my body. I do use flattering angles and poses, and I also edit the colours to reflect how things look in real life or to make a photo black and white. But I also have several unposed, totally untouched photos too.
I haven't seen much photoshop use here, but then again I rarely browse profiles so maybe that's why. |

My boobs are wonky as fuck....thats not Photoshop tho...
I occasionally slap a vignette or colour filter on...but never alter anything. What's the point? |

There and to the left a bit |
The only filters I use are cropping and black and white and the occasional vignette or similar "arty" ones.
It's true there are some drastically altered pics (you only have to look at Hot Pics for evidence - especially Men's Hot Pics) but they're usually so obvious they're easily spotted and ignored |

I use diffused lighting and angles. I boost / reduce contrast, saturation, highlights +shadow to various degrees and sometimes put a filter on to make the photo more interesting |

It can be hilarious to see the lack of care and attention to some manipulated photos... give aways include distorted backgrounds, and overuse of tools and filters.
It's a bit sad really... many have no need to deceive in such a way and would be accepted as they are naturally. I frankly find it off putting. |
