Another crocheter here, can knit but prefer crochet. Interesting anecdote from the dawn years of the tinternet, I thought I'd type knitting into my search engine (pre Google days) and see if there were any free patterns... naive little me definitely did not expect to be directed to a New York Lesbian Group |

I’ve been considering knitting a teapot cosy.... can’t decide if it should be a crinoline lady style or seaside scene one
If any of you have any patterns that could help,I’d appreciate it... or new suggestions are welcome! |

"Wish someone taught me how to crochet"
I learnt from a book about 35 years ago. Its quite easy the trick mostly is to have relaxed hands. I was helping my friend learn and she was so tense that we could hardly get the wool off the hook . I bet there are YouTube tutorials if you can bear the patronising tone and waggling of crochet hooks |
