If the fab forum lounge was an actual place.

Full of comfy Chesterfield sofas, with intriguing and inviting corners, bookshelves and artefacts where you could curl up with a book in a dusty recess, then without odd looks start a random topic conversation with everyone (this is a big room), how different would you be from this slightly impersonal cyberspace room?

You wouldn't dare join in? You'd struggle to express yourself or run to the dark corner? How different is your conversation likely to be?

You would watch the body language and look for admiring glances. Share a smile then say..... Weather's nice ha ha

La la land

I'm not particularly good in big crowds, they tend to intimidate me. So I'd probably be sat in a corner people watching for a while until I sussed the place and people out. Then I'd probably find someone to talk to and talk about some random stuff that I find interesting, which is exactly what I do on-line tbh

I’d be mingling in and out of the different groups chatting and introducing people to each other.

I really should open a dating agency

It's what I enjoy most about fab, I enjoy talking about politics, literature, philosophy or clothes. I like learning from others but it's not always easy to find on fab, for me it always needs searching for

I'd be signing autographs for all my adoring fans.

I'd really be giving people piggy backs coz people don't believe how strong I am.

I imagine I'd probably shed a tear when meeting people I'm cyber close to for the very first time.

I'd also be eyeing up ladies shoes and asking where they got them from, whilst running around barefoot

I’d be a social butterfly, making sure I stopped to introduce myself and chat with everyone

Perhaps talk about dusty old books or how to start a virtual forum we could all participate in

Seconding this! The only badside is you'll have to smile through all the saccharine success stories.

I'd probably be quite shy at first. I'd look for a wee space on my own but hope someone friendly and interesting eventually joins me. However once I felt comfortable I'd be pretty much the same as I am here

It's a good place to hang out, you get a constant stream of different people to chat to

Plus I'd only brought a long sleeved dress to wear and it was about 30 degrees that day so I was melting indoors

Oh what a lovely idea. But I wouldn't be as active as that's my idea of personal heaven for me time. Add in open fire and some tunes and I'll not surface out of there for at least a week

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I'd be standing in the loos having a minor panic attack at the thought of the crowds of people until I gave myself a slap, headed inside for 3 seconds and then legged it.

I'm painfully shy

Personally the way I'd see the lounge is like a dark room, blue and pink dark lights all over giving it like a 80's synth vibe, water features, fish tanks full of exotic fish, statues that bask in the hue of the lights, juke boxes, pool tables, swimming pools, jacuzzis, arcade machines and a bar that's self serving and everyone is wondering around naked talking to one another not a care in the world.

I'm quite shy and don't do well in big groups so I'd definitely be sat in the corner hoping someone would like me enough to come over and have a chat. And once we say hello and break the ice you would find me just as I am on here, friendly and a little weird I would say.

I would take a good corner position with a view of all the room. Then find the nicest crowd like nocturnal and some dancing mad women and rule the dance floor and have lots of laughter. Basically what I do anyway;-)

I prefer small groups to big crowds, so I'd probably find a couple of sofas with people who seemed interesting and settle myself there out of the way of the bigger, noisier groups, have a good old natter and ask over-personal questions because I'm nosy.

^^This and people watching sussing everyone out. Going outside to vape to give myself a breather from all the people. If I did get talking I would get a bit excitable and start rambling
