Being called a "C**t"
Jump to: Newest in thread
For the very first time in my entire life, I've been called a 'Cunt' today!
I'd have to say this is personally one of my least favourite words, and one which I've never actually used myself.
I don't quite know how to feel?
I'd appreciate perking up a tad folks - please think of some nice names to call me... |

My Australian mates call me a ‘cunt’ daily, it’s a term of endearment, when an Aussie calls you a ‘shit Cunt’ that’s when you know he doesn’t like you. So I suggest you don’t be so sensitive and suck it up. |

I’m Scottish. Cunt is a word that slips right off the tongue.
I use it for everything, from an insult to a compliment. “You’re a good cunt” is a common compliment. |

What was the context? Why did they call you that? |

That’s a subtle way of calling me a cunt. Also The way you put mates in Quotations Makes me suspect you think I haven’t got any. So excellent work, did you have a bad day or something ? |

I'll perk you up with a joke.
What do you call a magician who's lost his magic?
Ian.
As for the cunt thing, sorry but I'm no help there. Tis one of my favourite words of all time, it's right up there with Snuffleupagus.
I don't believe using that word makes someone an obviously horrible person. Just means they like the word cunt. I can't stand the word frangipane but I don't think those that like the word or the food are cunts in a bad sense, or gross people.... I'm not that daft to realise people like and dislike different things. I'll never hold it against them. |

But I do like frangipane and the word itself - it's all soft and gooey sounding, like bathing in treacle. |

I know people who use the word lightly and mean no offence but then there are others who rarely use it and will bring it out because they're not happy and that's the point I'd get upset over it as I'd know it's serious but that's not to say they are in the right for calling you a cunt.
What happened to cause this? |

When I'm called one in my job it invariably leads to a confrontation, I think you must be quite a sensitive type to be so upset.
You should be tougher... like a diamond maybe. |

I have been called a cunt before, as a term of endearment by aussie and scottish friends, and I've also been called it as in the other sense. But will have to admit, I have used it both ways also.
I'll just offer an enacted high 5 at 2 metres apart |

if you tell us your misdemeanor we can let you know if you were
A) a bit of a cunt
B) a proper cunt
C) a grade A fucking cunt
D) a special kind of cunt with a place reserved in hell
I have met more than my fair share of C's and enough D's to last me a lifetime.

Depends on the context really? Cunt is word I hear people use daily: “Aup cunt”, “you silly cunt”, “it’s over here you cunt”.... lol don’t get me wrong it can be used offensively but usually you can spot that with the tone? |

I was maybe bordering on (A) ever so slightly?
A "Cheeky Rascal" may have been a more appropriate label... |

I have great difficulty saying this word out loud but will use it written now. Its always felt the worst word ever, but I read some great stuff ages ago that I cant remeber the details off about how women should reclaim the word as not something awful and the worst thing imaginable but as something great. Just dont try and make me say it out loud |

In Scotland it can be a term of endearment for example:
Good Cunt
Sound Cunt
Funny Cunt
What you don’t want to be is:
A Pure Cunt
A Fucking Cunt
A Cunts Cunt |

Random cunt fact: Did you know that the decidedly vulgar term is said to have originally been derived from the name of the Indian Goddess Kunti? The word subsequently evolved into the Old Norse ’Kunta’, referring to the vulva and there are additionally many variations existing in other Germanic and Scandinavian languages.
Extraordinarily fascinating indeed.
Be sure to join me next time when I will be explaining the origins of the word: ‘Bollocks’ |

"Yeah. This is a word I have huge problems with. It’s not in my vocabulary "
Been called it many times by my ex. It used to annoy me. Words are what people make so a cunt could be a flower a butterfly a nice place to have your body parts in. Think of the positives. Sticks and stones and all that. |
