What pet name do you have for your partner ?
I call Sandie "Bella Blowhole" It came about one day when she was having a right old go at me for doing something, saying something, or not doing something that I was meant to do (Guys you know how it is with woman - we are never in the right !) and the only thing that I could think of to say at the time was, "For Christs sake will you shut up, Bella Blowhole" and for the last 4 and a bit years it has stuck. Most of the time it is abbreviated to just "Bella"
So come on folks, let us have your pet names and how they came about ..... |

Siren just calls me 'babe' whereas I often refer to her as 'bonecrusher' after she accidentally squished one of our fish to death replacing the filtration unit in the aquarium. One of the other fished jumped out of the water the next time Siren went to clean the tank and we've never found it!
But she does have a mercy to her madness too... she'd never let a fish suffer and has dispatched them in the past..... once she wrapped one up in a teatowel and bludgeoned it to death with a brick to 'put it out of its misery'.... As you can imagine, I pray that I don't get a terminal illness and I do sleep with one eye open! hehehe |

I know I know... but what can I do? She's set herself up as WonderWench and seems to want to take us heroes down whenever she thinks she can but alas, she's just a mere girl and no match. Poor kid. You gotta luv her though hehehe |

Unlucky sweetie, you can use either word. There is no hard and fast rule. Both are verbs.
Is that how it's spelled?
Is that how it's spelt?
Have I spelt that correctly?
Have I that spelled correctly?
It makes no difference.
