Somewhere In The Ether…

What a wondrous invention eh?

In this area we are graced with four colours:

Black, blue, green and brown (plus a little grey food recycling one which is rather awesome as well)

My question: How many do you have? What colours are they? Do you likewise marvel at the wonder that are wheely bins?

Also - which one is correct for emptying dog shit in?

Dog shit bins are red.

Did you see the dog shit bin post box scene in After Life? Outtakes were great too.

We don't have wheelie bins because there is no room to put them around the property.. we have an orange food waste bin and blue sacks for paper, plastic and bottles and good old fashioned binbags for household waste

Bedworth

We have general waste, recycling with a separate insert for cardboard and garden waste. All of them are 2 weekly collections, garden waste is collected the same week as recycling and is now a paid for service. Food waste collections were stopped some years ago and we were told to put food in the garden waste bin. Now that they have introduced an additional annual charge for emptying the garden waste bin many people now just throw it in the general waste

Black general waste bin that is emptied fortnightly.

Recycling is collected weekly. 2 black boxes, one for cardboard and one for paper & glass. Blue bag for plastic and tins. Blue caddy for food waste. Green bag for garden waste.

On a mooch

Two bags - one black which is food waste, aerosols, batteries and alike; everything else is a clear bag for recycling to sort. Both collected once a week

In a town full of colours

We just have black bin bags and see through recycling bags, bottles in a plastic box and a green bag for garden waste

The lack of love for the wonder that is the wheely bin on the forums saddens me deeply

Chams or Socials

We have brown for garden, green for anything not recyclable, blue for recyclables except paper & cardboard which now go in a shit blue bag - the dog lives jumping on them & emptying them on her nightly walks
