have you noticed in the forums theres people who just love to disagree an shoot people down,,,just for the fun of it
i like that all get involved an give advice when needed or slightly of fact
but theres a fair few who cant help but cause a bloody row when its not needed
are you a forum sniper ??? |

I certainly think there are those who like to stir the pot for the sake of being controversial - but I also think there are those who make very valid points and present different opinions to some who are seen as "sniping" when they're anything but...
...the key is being able to tell the difference between the two |

Definitely a sniper and a not a very good one at that!!!
The forums are there to use within the rules as people see fit and I’d guess are only used by about 10% of the fab membership and for me they work fine as I’m not forced to read all threads or indeed post in any threads but they can be at times very helpful.

Advice against 'deathly' sniping.
1. Find a good spot.
2. Nestle in.
3....and you/anyone will be OK.
Sometimes it's just a roll of hilarious responses which can be very funny.
There should be room for that too,
though I can understand new posters being thrown by that.
So I think it's best to give them time to bed in first.
EXCEPT for the odd one or two who deserve ALL they get! |

Maybe it's just me, but I see a little shot ring out with pretty much every reply here and also in the OP. Ppl are always sniping and pretending not to and disguising it as debate, BUT then when other ppl debate them in return and say something credible they call it sniping.....
Often this response comes from ppl who are unable to debate successfully (they may at times also try to initiate a group mentality for protection and to avoid exposure). It's a shame and it undermines genuine intelligent growth and enables a closed mind to remain so.... 
I'm with Tame on the dull as fuck echo chamber scenario. Put some thought and energy into your words and reap the benefits. Stay open, remain challenging, keep a sense of humour and don't apologise for being the way you are my lovely ppl....   |
