I used to be quite big as a music channel on YouTube one (my claim to fame is that I was once the 32nd most watched music video that day on youtube lol) but it's changed a lot since I started on there. Still make about £20 a month in advertising revenue though!  |

There used to be a channel from Iceland called Keeping up with the Kattarshians. It was kittens who were up for adoption, living in a tiny house and live streamed, with highlights uploaded to YouTube. It was a gorgeous thing to watch and all the kittens got adopted, so winners all round. |

I watch specific genres of Music videos, matching with my musical tastes.
I also catch up with the Late Shows from the USA, virtually all of which are destroying everything Trump does and says; best comedy shows going.
I also catch up with other hobbies related vids and trailers, plus some instructional information channels to assist me on subjects. |

At work I look after 15 feral cats, I feed them daily and have even made them little homes. Thankfully I've managed to get them all neutered but the kittens i used to get were cute as buttons and I used to find homes for them all.

You spay them to stop them producing 3 litters of kittens a year. Litters where only a maximum of 20% of the kittens will survive the first year. You spay to stop the 3 litters a year taking such a huge toll on the health of the cat that it will likely die before it reaches age 5, most likely while its giving birth. You spay to prevent interbreeding with other colony members as most animals cannot recognise that they are related to their brother, sister, son, daughter, mother, father etc.

Why do humans think that is their choice or position to take control over? That is their position in nature.
The same can be said with thinking human homes are the only appropriate homes...they are not.
It's not for us to decide who or what lives and dies, nor is it for us to decide what classifies as "home" for other species.
My point was that humans mess about too much with nature & environments thinking they know best (even if they mean well), we don't know best & judge everything by human standards not nature's standards.
You only need to look at the climate crisis & the shear amount of other species we've made extinct across history to know that.
For instance if we neuter all cats feral or otherwise as is now commonly done & accepted we will make them extinct over time through lack of breeding options & the ones left with bring inbreeding in due to the shear lack of fertile members of their societies.
Overall it's not for the best it's ignorant human thought patterns omitting nature's ways.
Death isn't cruel, it's the only thing guaranteed to all living beings from microbes to great massive whales and even planets & stars. |

I built (/had a big hand in building, as it wasn't a solo effort) two of the winning cars in their classes for TOTB one year. Neither was built with much money.
On one, we had a coil failure the day before, couldn't get a compatible replacement so we won our class with a coil with a cap head bolt turned down on a manual lathe to match the profile of a spark plug....
That kind of ingenuity is sadly gone so I now get most business doing remaps |
