"I neither like nor dislike parsnips.
Are you a tory MP?
I've yet to see their strategy on parsnips.
Better than their strategy on covid-19 "
As in they actually have one? |

Brussels sprouts boiled and then fried off with bacon lardons (no smirking)
Aubergines scooped out, filled with pre-cooked bolognese mince and topped with cheese and a sprinkle of paprika
Green beans....go in or with loads of stuff
Asparagus, nice when griddled and served with tender stem broccoli and steamed cod on a spicy tomato and chorizo purée. |

Creamed chicken and parsnip soup, lots of pepper. Doesn't look particularly nice, but the taste is fantastic.
It took me to the age of about 45 before I even tried a parsnip! The smell put me off for a long time.
Broccoli? Just tastes a bit cabbagey/sprouty. Has the same after effects too! |

Sorry couldn't help but smirk. These are just things I wouldn't choose to eat. I wouldn't buy and cook them but if someone made it for me I'd eat it. I was brought up to always eat what you are given. It's stuck with me and I'd silently suffer with a smile on my face out of politness. Sometimes you can mix it in with something else so you don't taste it. Except Brussels, there's just no getting round them. |
