Fox tail butt plugs..... marmite or not
Jump to: Newest in thread
Now I really like these..... but I think they may be a bit marmite. Am I alone or is this a liked kink.
Is it a male orientated thing or are there ladies who like the look and the concept and use.
I different styles too but nobody has come up with a strong magnetic switchable solution yet.

"Idiotic tbh in my humble opinion ."
That's quite a strong statement. How is someone an idiot for liking this?
Surely it's no different to liking latex for example, or any number of things that the ordinary person doesn't wear/use?
You may find it very strange, not for you, scary, funny even. But none of those things makes the individual that does like it, an idiot, just different to yourself. |

We are idiots. Neither of us were into them and even found them a turn-off.
Yet, somehow, over time that changed and they became something to tick off our list. Now we both love it - the look and feel. |

Looks daft, but then so do a lot of things. Each to their own, but not for us right now. As we've found, never say never. I (Mrs) often say no to a lot of things and over time I change my mind. |

I first though they were a bit strange but then I've since seen photos on here and thought actually that looks quite good. I don't know if I ever would though,I think I would personally feel to silly and we would just end up in hysterics |

I have a purple and white one.
It matches a couple of my outfits and feels great.
I like the feel of it in my balloon knot, plus I like the feel of the fluffiness stroking the back of my thigh when I walk.
Idiotic, I'd say not. But calling someone idiotic for liking something that doesn't hurt them or anyone else.... well, in MY humble opinion, I'd say that qualifies.

We do the furry thing once in a while (but then we do a lot of other kinks as well) so racoon tail plug here.
Racoons are so much fun. They steal stuff, interact with pets, climb things and hey, have opposable thumbs lol
Our pics of that are available on a well known fet site |

Pet play has a complexity that I suspect some people don’t understand, there is often projection from lack of personal understanding.
I think it is odd that some like kink, some like vanilla. Both are right, just not in the eyes of the other party. |

Very strange perhaps but I dont think of them as pet play at all. 8n fact, pet play doesnt work for me probably because its straying into a role play which I can never get my head around or get excited about it.
I just think they look amazing and flicks a switch in my head. The other huge switch flicker is female breasts with a horizontal nipple bar piercing.
I have no idea why as I am not really into piercings at all but that just drives me wild. |

Different take from a BDSM play angle, nice little game or to be worn out and about under a longish skirt of dress,
A) jeopardy of ensuring it’s got to stay in or everyone around will know
B) mental control thing of only the two of us knows what’s under your dress...
Great fun to the open minded |

"I prefer seeing foxtails on foxes.
I'm not sure that I would feel sexy with a bit of fake fur dangling out of my arse. But each to their own. "
...And some prefer seeing fur coats on animals (as in one of your public pics)
Rather than implying an anti fur motif and with some fairly obvious contradictions its probably better to look at it as the desire to take on attributes of animals we admire.
Human history is crammed with zoomorphic behaviour (feedback if a better word known). Wearing of fur and symbols of animals as a projection and internalisation of power, fear, sexuality etc through to modern popular culture, anime, Disney: one of the most successful films of all time features giant blue creatures with tails and cat ears/eyes being operated by "humans" (Avatar anyone?)
Children adore the zoomorphic; one could almost say it is innate. Adults may consciously reject this behaviour *because* of this childhood association (or just not like butt plugs).
Do you try to get your cat to play with the ps4? No you pull a bit of string till they pounce. You think of what THEY like, how they behave, and act accordingly. For some wearing a tail and ears is the same - getting into the headspace or mindset.
It clearly polarises and is seen as an acceptable target for such disparaging comments. We are animals. Perhaps behaving like one on both sides of the discussion is hardly surprising.

In no way was I being disparaging, simply expressing my opinion. These days it seems like one can't make a single comment without being pulled on it. What people like to do privately in the bedroom is entirely their business and people pretending to be a dog or any animal is their sexual preference, their choice. It just doesn't do it for me. I should be able to speak negatively of someone's kink interest without being called disparaging! P.S. My coat is fake fur. |

For those who are putting them down. That's coll that you don't like them, not everyone can like everything.
To me tho, it's no different to wearing a pair of silky stocking or something that feels good against your skin.
It's not about how it looks as much as how it feels. It's not about pretending I'm a fox or getting off on any kind of role play. It feels nice in my balloon knot and soft and strokey against my legs. Simple as that.
I'd not tell someone they looked stupid if they wore leather, or a corset or a wig or whatever the hell they felt good in or fancied at the time. I don't understand dressing as a baby and that’s cool. I'll not berate it, condemn it or judge it. If it was something that wasn't for me, it's merely something that wasn't for me.
Kink shaming is so unnecessary when it's something you simply wear.

Your comment was a lot less negative than some, and my remark about disparaging was more general on the thread. You did choose an expression (perhaps unintentionally) very similar to a well known anti-fur/PETA phrase, which in the context seemed very harsh. As regards inability to express your opinion, actually you can and did say what you wanted to, and I responded to it. Both opinions equally valid. FTR I did not respond to your opinion (yay/nay to tails) but on the way I perceived you (and others earlier more) felt it necessary to qualify opinion with ridicule, which adds nothing to the debate and just insults those with a different opinion.
People wear a lot of stuff for a lot of reasons. Zoomorphism and anthropomorphism extends and blurs everywhere. Your fake fur coat is part of it. Healthy debate on a fascinating subject. |

In no way was I ridiculing anybody, I was simply responding to the Op's original question and joining in the debate and shouldn't be accused of any "ism". |

"For those who are putting them down.
"
The shaming bit is simple done by someone who doesn't understand, rather admit or enquire about it and become more knowledgeable they turn to bullying to deflect their lack of understanding. It's quite a common thing by those who don't like to be seen as marginal. |

"I just can’t help but think of how dirty and they get and would probably smell. Can you wash the fur or no?"
Just like any other toys you don't leave them out to get dirty and dusty and clean the plug bit.
I got some lube on the material bit last use, so I took it in the shower with me, gave it a shampoo and condition so it's mega fresh n clean and smells lush too. |

I just meant for bodily fluids getting in the fur.
Suppose that works |

When both parties are into this its fantastic fun, as long as is done properly and care is taken to be clean. I mean no one wants to see a piece of half digested sweetcorn in places they shouldn't be! From experience that kinda kills the moment |

... the two "ism" are certainly not accusations, just words used in polite circles well beyond Fab! Enough said. |
