"I have 6 eggs. I broke 2, I cooked 2 and ate 2. How many eggs do I have?"
Depends what you did with the two you broke
Now usually when leading up to cooking eggs
One would usually say
I cracked two eggs into the pan and then cooked them
Where as a wasted egg one may say
I was going to crack and bake to eggs but I dropped them on the floor and they broke
I'd say the OP question is ambiguous
Either way its 2 or 4 ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

4 still in the box, 2 in your belly.... Unless you've crapped it out already... In which case that stockpiled bog roll will now be handy![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

I HAVE 6 EGGS RIDDLE BROKE DOWN
The question for this riddle is seemingly very simple – which should raise alarm bells from the start. The riddle reads:
I have 6 eggs. I broke 2, I cooked 2 and ate 2. How many eggs do I have?
Have a think about the possible answer before continuing to scroll down The answers are coming up next and we don’t want to slap you in the face with any sudden spoilers. |

If we play according to the rules of tenses in grammar, the eggs that were broken, cooked and eaten do not matter. You have six eggs with you. So these six eggs are different from the lot that were broken, cooked and eaten.
The answer therefore is that you have six eggs left. |

After studying all possible answers and looking at the question again I going to go with, “ 0”. |
