Hello. Day 12 of isolation and the cupboards are looking bare. I’m having to eat things I’d normally not like, dark chocolate from Christmas at the back of the fridge. I’m not a dark chocolate fan.

What have you had to eat you wouldn’t normally?

Eating really well, a little more beige than usual, and extra grazing by the fridge but mostly healthy.

I had to devour it raw wifey (mind you, the HP Sauce I added made it rather tasty in fact)

Actually, I’m thinking of taking my recipe revelation onto Masterchef next year.

I’m sure John and Gregg will absolutely love it.....

Sorry I forgot to say, I’m self isolating. I’ve had a couple of good parcels dropped off by friends but don’t like to ask.

Bloody hell where was that from! All the ones I've ever bought are stale before the use by date!

Can't go shopping on isolation though, and no online deliveries have been available for 2wks in our area. Due one on Sat, but we are out of many common foods here. No barrels needing to be scraped yet, though.

M&S supposed to expire 20 March. I wrapped the two remaining in a ziplock bag and it’s original wrapper. I thought I might have to toast it but nope was still good
