I second the part about putting in something about what you're looking for.
The self-deprecating humour about your expected message volume at the end could end up being a bit hit or miss. I can see it putting some people off. |

I've messaged a few people so far, only people I have an interest in. Not really sure what to expect though tbh. |

Get yourself to an organised social in your area.
A room full of like minded people in a very relaxed environment.
