would it be an idea, to only have profiles live, once a picture is added?
so many dont bother putting pics in, and some then have the cheek to say wont reply unless we have face pics.
could possibly also help with fakers |

Swinging is a intimate `hobby`, that many people want to take part in, but are full of nerves and antisipation, they do not know what to expect, and I would say that some are even fearful.
To make it compulsary to have a photo would simply turn many away.
Give these same people time to adjust to whats happening and most will add a photo at some time, if not on public view then at least in their private collection.
As for those that want a photo and have none of their own, thats a different thing, someone has to show first, its a risk if you send first,.. you have to judge that for yourselves

I see your point, and its a good one yes. then, there is no rule that says a clothed pic with face blanked out cant be used i guess. at least it gives some indication to whom your about to talk too. |

Yes,..I also see your point, but you guys and us are both confident swingers, its sometimes very hard to put ourselves in the shoes of someone who is very concerned about `it getting out`

Why not make it a rule that your profile goes live only when there is a piccie.
It doesn't have to show a face ffs. Body shot will be fine, a bum shot, a tit shot.....
After all, if any newbies are entering the world of swinging and are too shy to stick any kind of piccie on here, then realistically, they are gonna be too shy to meet..... therefore, swinging may not be for them.
The only people it endangers are those that are on here to cheat. After all, wifey/hubby might see a partially clothed/headless shot lurking about on their computer and wonder what's going on.
For anyone else..... lets be honest, if you can't get ya tits or cock out on cam, then how the blazes are you gonna get them out in front of strangers? |

If that was made a rule and people still didn't want to put pics up then they will probably just search the web for anyones pic to get started.
Some people like privacy and can always send pics that way. Just because people are swingers doesn't mean they have to show themselves to everyone....be that on cam or pics. |

we never send out pics to people, especially the ones who have no pics themselves. What makes me laugh is when you see people put their addy in chat/profile and is says "here is my msn add me, i dont have pics on here but can show you pics on msn" we don't add people who do that either. maybe we sound fussy, but just being carefull.

We actually don't swop pics at all, but some people might want the privacy of sending in private.
It won't suit the majority , as most like to see pics on the profile from what I have seen and we can understand why.
Making a person put a pic on their profile before they can log on might just end up false pics if they still don't want their pics on. |

We wonder how many members without pix tick the "only show profiles with photos" box when browsing? A bit hypocritical we think.No, we don't do the pix on msn thing either,thats what the private gallery is for.As for being parents and having your children find out,it happened to friends of ours recently. When it finaly came out-from a third party-their kids said they'd known for ages and thought it was cool.Our friends said after years of worrying,they wished they'd come clean ages ago.

We would have thought that photos in your `private photos` were far safer there than showing them through any other public means.
As for the kids knowing..lol, our `kids` and the spouces know what we do, and have always been ok with it,.. by far the best solution

At the end of the day, if people fon't place a picture on their profile, what the heck ?
After all it is their profile and if the lack of photos means that no one will meet them, then it is also their loss

We think the site should have a cut off date, from then on every new profile request on the site would have to complete the photo verification system (Take a photograph of themselves holding the piece of paper with fabswingers.com and their username) to use the site as this can only be seen by the site owners or trusted admin. As these would not be shown to all and sundry therefore would not have the usual issues of having pictures on profile do. This would help to eliminate fake profiles.
Also we think that profiles which have not been verified should only be able to see the pictures on the profiles but not be able to click on them and see them larger. I know this maybe a big request but would make people more comfortable in using pictures on their profiles. This should include people whom dont have picture on their profile. ( I am not trying to be funny but if people are unwilling to even put basic pictures on their profiles why should they have the right to see other peoples pictures in large).
What do other ppl think about this. |

I don't know about a time limit for picture verification.
I personally refuse to do the picture verification for the plain and simple reason that I'm fairly well known amongst the Midlands swinging fraternity, I've been on here yonks and on other sites for years.
Enough people know me to verify that my pictures are of me and my hubby.
I must admit to feeling that this site could turn a bit 'nanny stateish'
But I do agree that those that refuse to put pictures on and have not been verified should not be allowed to perv the pictures of others.

We agree with not letting photoless profiles be able to see the photo's of others. Afterall swinging is all about sharing so why should they be able to see others photo's when they have none of their own? Also it would get rid of a lot of folk who just log on to perve the pix.

i dont have a pic ...but meet lots of people on here ...i do send a pic privately ..there are lots of reasons why people do not wish to use a pic publicly
a sensitive employer where it would be a breach of contract under " bringing the company into disrepute " through to their is someone in your past you need to ensure is not chatting to you before you open up ....yes i know people in that position .. Its not a one life fits all existence ...i think it should be left to the individual\s

We don't get hot under the collar if a profile has no pics - we just ignore it, but we do agree that profiles with no pics shouldn't be allowed to view others' pics, or at the very most be allowed to view low resolution thumbnails |

If there are no pics on profile i ask if they have cam and to put it on in chatroom before i even consider swapping addies.
So either way it doesnt matter to me wether they have pics on profile or not.
As i have rules about it and stick by them. |
