The attic is overrun by single guys. It wouldn't be such a problem if they showed good etiquette. The couple sat in front of us in the cinema were quite literally pounced upon by several guys all at once. She was going down on her fella and allowed one guy to go down on her. The rest assumed this was a green light for all of them to get in on the act which was not the case so it caused a commotion. Also whereever we went guys just followed us. We attempted to play in an open area but again they stand so close you can smell their breath. In future we'll play in a private room only. We're open to a guy joining us maybe but we wouldn't consider the sort at the attic that are in your face. |

Just to clear before anyone says guys misread her signal The couple were sat on the front settee and there was a guy sat opposite facing them. Once he was given the nod to play with the wife a dozen guys from the back came over and pounced onto them. |

Really not sure, at the minute to be honest. Never had issues anywhere else, but to be fair that wasn't the clubs fault by any means. If I do go back I'll hopefully get to know a few more folks along the way. Never easy for a new single guy in a club anywhere, but a big thank you to everyone who did take the trouble to chat. |

That's really awful! Guessing that happened after I left as I wasn't aware of it at any point. As a single bloke I don't understand that mentality at all. Have to say I've never seen as many single guys on one night anywhere before,but every club has a different approach (not bad, just different). Hope your night didn't get ruined as well! |

party night does get people that dont seem to understand.. men and women. I find a word with the staff or the guys in question helps. I played in the cinema and told the others to stand back and they did.

Yes. No criticism implied as it wasn't an issue for me and wan't there to see the issue in the cinema. Just an observation based on visiting other places. On the plus side its a lot cheaper there for guys, so very much a case of swings and roundabouts I guess. If they make the prices fairer they need more guys in there to make it work financially. Irrespective of any clubs rules respect should be a given from all of us. I try not to impose myself on people so may potentially miss out on occasion, but I'd rather that than be a nuisance in any way. |

We had a fantastic night there last night, Mrs wore a red upvc tight skirt. Yes we had a few single guys approach and stare but it was no different to any other club we've been to. Sorry to hear anyone who didn't enjoy the evening. |

That was myself who was given the green light. Id sat enjoying the view and when i made eye contact, i asked if the lady would like me to give her oral as she sucked her fella, to which she gave me approval. Next thing im having my legs stood on and pushed out the way by a group of about 15 guys. It couldve actually caused someone getting injured. Politeness costs nothing. Another couple i spoke to had the same issue in the maze as they played, saying about 10 guys just surged in, to which point they stopped playing |

From what I have heard at most clubs it seems to attract some people who think the rules don't apply to them. Yes this should not happen but it's impossible for the club to police at the entrance. It's what happens inside the club once it's been reported, after many a weekend spent at this club we can say that the staff are very quick to sort out any rule breaking. The single men do get a bad rep but from our experience they are generally polite respectful and chatty, yes you do get the odd person who is a nuisance but in other clubs we have been followed around by lone males. |

We heard about the couple in the maze too. I don't know if you remember we chatted briefly. Sorry if it spoilt your fun. Hope it didn't ruin your night. The attic has proven to be too much hassle. The first time we used a booth we closed the black curtain and a guy opened it and asked if he could join. This was a few months back.

Agree. From what I saw as a newbie the staff moved around the building fluidly all evening, something I've not seen anywhere else. Don't think they could have done any more except be in that exact spot at exactly the right time. |

I was chatting to 3 males friends in the bar area, in a circle with our backs to everyone else, there were a few couples sat on the sofas and milling around. Then a staff member comes up and tells us to split up because we are intimidating other people. I'm sorry what?! We were talking amongst ourselves, not approaching anyone else, just having a good time. This seemed bizarre to me.
And for the single guy bashing, it's a club that allows single men in, if you have a problem with single men go to a club that's couples only? Obviously some guys will approach you because how are they to know you don't want single guys unless they show some interest and you tell them no. If they persist after that then yeh tell the staff and they'd be kicked out. The attitude of some couples is a bit disgusting how I saw one treat a single guy who attempted to talk to them. A simple no thanks is enough, not a threatening remark from the guy in the couple surely.
And as for creepy people, women fall into this too. I get groped by d*unk women in there who think it's okay to just grab and touch whatever before they talk to me. I guess that's ok tho? The same women who moan about being followed by single blokes lol. |

I saw that. I was by the buffet and one staff member came in to talk to another saying there was a big group of men over by the bar that needed sorting out.

The comment about creepy women is laughable. There hasn't been a problem involving women. If I was a single guy I would wait for a couple to approach me. We don't appreciate guys talking to us. We are open to singles but we will come to you if we are interested. |

Isn't the scene about being social as well? Maybe they just want a conversation and nothing more? I know personally I don't always play but enjoy networking and just chatting. |

Ive been on the end of grabby women many times and guys I see it all The time... I've been on the scene a long time and have always encouraged new people.. male.. female and couples to engage in chat as no harm in chatting.
I've seen a group of women many times in clubs being intimidating x and imho will take far more liberties than any group of guys x |

Great point - though a little more interaction wouldn't go amiss sometimes. I think clubs (and Fab in general) are places a woman can be more assertive in what she wants in a place that should be safe to do so, but the girls need to have reasonable boundaries as much as the men. Respect should be a two-way street.

People will try to talk to each other because if nothing else its a social thing to do so unless you carry a sign round saying single guys don't talk to us they are not to know that. Maybe this club isn't a right fit for you and you'd be better off at a club that offers a couples only night. |
