Hi. Not been on the can rooms, few questions please.
- does someone have the ability to record, we value our privacy so wouldn’t want that to be an option for anyone
- are the cams 1:1 or lots of people ar the same time
- can you invite someone else to a cam session or do you just try and both find a free channel
- can you make cams exclusive use, 1:1 without anyone else joining?

It's impossible to stop someone recording either via software or using another device.
If you are truly worried either try to not show your faces or anything the clearly identifies you.
Cams are not 1:1 so you can possibly find a room with just who you want in (not always possible). You may need to find an alternative platform.

It's been answered well by the post above me. You can technically go one on one by watching someone else's cam and ignoring the comments in the room.
Yes you'd still have yours on while they watched you but you JUST watch their cams and you can also mute yours while you talk via phone to them so they still can see AND HEAR you while those watching you can only see you.
So not technically one on one but as close as you'll get via the fab cam platform... Yes others can see your cam but it really wouldn't matter if you're not reading or watching the chat screens. |

As much as it’s an open chat room, there is a way of making your chats 1-2-1 without any interruptions but there is always a chance someone could have clicked on your cam and be watching (the eye icon shows you who’s watching at the side of their name in the list)
First of all choose a chat room
Click on the camera of the profile you want to chat/play with
Open the “pm” box under their name
Close the main chat room
You’ve then got a 1-2-1 chat box as long as you both keep the chat open and each others cam on
Nobody can message you apart from that profile either so it takes anything else out of the equation
There is always a chance someone might be watching and can’t guarantee and possible recording
I never show my face for that reason on cam
