 | We went along to try this new club for the Halloween party and then again in November. We like to try places twice before doing a review.
As you can see from the other reviews it is a big place, which does pose the question you don't hear too often in the swingers world…. 'is it too big'?
The problem here is there is no actual right or wrong answer that will suit everyone. In my humble opinion the bar area is actually too big with far too much open space and sofas everywhere. Some people will be confident with this and approach others or mingle but some (like us) do prefer a smaller bar area where the initial interaction or conversation feels a lot easier and ‘closer’ even if this is just passing the time of day.
As for the rest of the club the size seems quite irrelevant really. Yes, there are lots of playrooms, which can spread people out a bit but this also means less of the hunting around for a play area that you get with some smaller clubs and I tend to find the type of couples wanting a 10 person orgy are the type that are confident enough to arrange this anyway.
The other plus side is nothing seems crammed in and with so many rooms there’s much more to sample such as the water bed room, the swinging bed as well as the standard glory holes and cinema rooms to name just a few.
The noticeable thing with all the rooms is that they are well thought out and clean so for us the upstairs gets a big thumbs up!
The club also has a very well equipped dungeon room that deserves a separate mention and the wet area is fantastic with the pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. The only downside here is that on the first visit the pool was cold and on the second the Jacuzzi wasn’t too warm either. Hopefully this is something that will be sorted out.
The changing areas are spacious with secure lockers and showers so again it’s all you need really.
Although it must have cost a fortune to do the club to what it is now there are still some niggles and room for improvements here and there but these are only little corners of décor that are to finish off and it does feel picky to mention them as it’s nothing you don’t get in many other clubs. As it’s still considered a new club I’m sure they will all be completed soon although I can see why some people may comment that it’s not 100% finished yet.
My main gripes for the nights would be the pool and Jacuzzi temperatures. This was not just me making the old ‘it was very cold’ excuse as others were saying the same! Honest! The other one would be to get a half decent pool table! It’s not good that all the cushions are dead and the balls roll off when you are playing for blowjobs!!
Another massive plus and to give it more appeal would be a weekend 3.00am finish like some other swingers clubs rather than 2.00 which a few people have mentioned but saying all that and in reality if these are the only things I can find to grumble about after two visits then it’s doing well in my book. We are already planning another visit and I would have no hesitation in recommending it which then leads to the elephant in the room- Is it better than Quest?-
Again in my humble opinion one of the best points about Pandora’s is that in many ways it doesn’t compete with Quest. One is massive and one is compact, one has lots of playrooms one not so many. They both have a good vibe, both are clean and both feel safe which should be standard but is sadly not in all clubs so I think it really depends what kind of mood you are in. We prefer couples nights so when we get a free weekend we would probably go to whichever was couples that night and so the choice wouldn’t have much to do with the facilities. If both were couples night it would just depend on our mood and could even be a coin flip.
Some people will love it and some wont, as is the same with everything in life and at the end of the day having two nice clubs in Leeds with different ‘personalities’ and ideas can only really benefit us, the customers so I’m all for a bit of healthy competition :-)
