| After yesterday's night we are really disappointed... Before we decided to go to the club, I called Newport Chameleons twice to get information about last night's venue. On our arrival we noticed that the new year's party is also a 50's birthday party... in my opinion owner's of the club should put the note on their website about it and give information over the phone especially that I have specifically asked about what type of crowds were they expecting. I was not informed about this birthday party and I feel Chameleons took advantage of us. After around 30 minutes We decided to leave, the club was packed with elderly people and don't get me wrong I like mature people but I felt like I was a child there, it was impossible to use the jacuzzi, many rooms were closed and those which were supposed to be refurbished looked and smelled just like before...., to top it up when we were leaving I expressed my concerns and was dismissed in a rather rude manner by one of the staff, when I asked for at least a partial refund of the entry fee I was told that it is against the policy to issue refunds... Shame that honesty, full disclosure of ongoing events and taking care of regular customers isn't the policy there is (we have been visiting Chameleons for nearly 10 years)... Needless to say we won't be going there again, we prefer to travel 2h to Birmingham rather than 20 minutes to Newport, it says it all
