Hey we still can't believe we're writing this!

We're a young(ish) couple that has been together a number of years and are really happy together. We've always been open to new things sexually and after a few conversations we've decided we'd like to include others in that as well.

*UPDATE*

So we've been on here a while now and we thought it's a good time to update the profile a little more with what we've learnt on this journey!

Firstly, as a disclaimer, I (Alice) run this profile and I have a tendency to switch between we/I and our names when I write anything about us both, so if/when that happens I = Alice!

We'd like to share the good, the bad, and the ugly from our experiences so far, by no means do we wish to bore you to death but it may be useful for someone new getting into the scene, reading the profiles of other, more experienced people in the lifestyle certainly helped us.

Firstly, WOW! One of our biggest regrets is not taking the jump sooner, after nights and nights of pillow talk and sometimes flirty whispering after one too many wines, it took us a long time to actually go ahead and take it further. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being flippant about taking the extra jump, sometimes fantasising should be just that, each couple and person is different, but for us this was a good choice.

I don't like to say it's made our relationship "stronger" because that gives the impression there was something missing before, but it certainly has enhanced it in ways we didn't imagine and in that sense it has made us stronger.

Setting goal posts / boundaries and sticking to them has been really useful as well, we both know that each of us will only do things we know each of us is comfortable with, and over time those boundaries have moved, broadened, but we always make sure we both know what is acceptable and what each other is comfortable with. We did set a safe word at the beginning, but we found after visiting a few clubs that it was either too noisy to work, or too obvious a safe word, so instead we use a small pinch if one of us does start to do something the other is unsure about a small pinch and either one of us will reign it in.

I, Alice, have also found it so empowering as a woman to meet people and be in environments were women are respected and listened too, before joining the lifestyle we often read it was women that were "in control" and it's very true. No means no, consent is everything and in fairness I feel totally safe with each experience we've had that our limits have been respected.

We have had a few negative experiences along the way, being stood up after paying for an hotel, just the guy arriving when you were expecting a couple, and people being just pretty nasty in the messages for no apparent reason, but there is a block button and it gets used!

Single guys get a lot of bad press on here and in our experience it's the few that ruin it for the many, again the block button comes in handy.

We do love the club scene as well, and we've made some lifelong friends over the time, we're very lucky in the UK to have well run clubs, we did visit two in central Europe (no names mentioned) and they were very seedy, very much how I imagine people to imagine swingers who aren't in the lifecycle.

At the moment we've met both couples and single men, we're happy with full swap / sex and one day we might look at meeting alone, but that's not something we're considering immediately.
