What’s the 1st movie you remember going to see in the cinema? And what makes you remember it.
For me it was the Little Mermaid. I have a lot of sisters so I had no choice in what we saw. Plus I was only 3 or 4 at the time.
Reason I remember I because I threw a hissy fit in McDonald’s afterwards because my happy meal toy was Ariel and not Eric. I made my dad go change it. Ended up with Flownder. |

Ouch! That must have been traumatising. "
It was, still to this day
All I really remember was the tiny bit at the end with the blood running down the screen |

Apparently, my mum took me to see Watership Down when I was a toddler, but we ended up sat in the car outside the cinema, waiting for my older brother to finish watching the film, because I wouldn’t sit still
Earliest movie that I can remember watching in the cinema was E.T. - and yes, I cried |

It was probably a Disney animated film like Snow White or something similar when I was about 4 or 5. The one that I clearly remember seeing was Star Wars : A New Hope in 1977 - I was 6. There were queues right the way through Blackwood High Street for that one ! |
