What would be the collective feeling from everyone of one organising a curry night for fabbers.
There would have to be some stipulations. Such as a recent veri from a group social event, and deposit to minimise the chances people letting everyone down. The deposit returned on arrival at venue.

I know a deposit might turn people away but if booking a table it needs to be that way. So if someone pulls out the restaurant is not left out of pocket |

Will keep in mind. Booking for a lot of people maybe difficult on a Saturday could do a Sunday I suppose.

Ok folks.
We have booked a table in the Cardiff area.
For the 1/4/2020 in the evening.
Anyone is welcome but must have a recent group veri. Sorry to say a non refundable £10 is required as the business will lose money if people do not attend. The deposit will need to be paid before any details will be given out.
We attend both the Bridgend and Newport Socials. We would firstly really like to see you at these well organised events and it will be an opportunity to pay your £10 deposit.

Sorry we couldn't help you further. We just didnt think it fair the business lose money because people let them and us down. 12 people let the organisers down at the last social. We cant take that chance. Sorry

I have no issue with paying a deposit, I take issue with the way its organised & the need to attend another social to pay said deposit, that I feel isn't inclusive & merely strengthens the clique mentality that exists. Merely my opinion X |

No need attend another social to go to the curry one it was just an idea where people come together and it could be sorted.
It is over a month away yet so if you guys are about then we can have a social and sort it.

Just so every one knows. You do not have to meet us at another social, even though you would miss out, by not attending one of the well organised socials being held.
We would gladly meet you for a coffee and speak to you. Then put you on list.

Surely now that you have chosen the date starting a new post with all the details would be the best way forward, you could then set out everything including your terms (the need for a verification is definitely prohibiting a lot of people from attending) a lesser deposit would also be a plus. |
