"We're looking at venturing further afield to a club other than chams Newport on the 15th of Feb.
Any recommendations?
Darlastone?
Xtasia?
One in bristol?"
Our favourite club so far has been Cupids, an amazingly friendly and well thought out club. |

"Avoid _tasia. Yucky and run down. The jacuzzi looks like an abattoir. "
Lol so we have those plastics strips they use in butchers to retain cold in the freezers, at the entrance to the jacuzzi.
Other clubs don’t have these, and how often have you read on these forums about overpowering chlorine smells and condensation? Might not look ideal but it serves a valuable purpose.
As for the rest, there’s a club tour on our web site, really good and allows you to wander around every nook and cranny. We’re actually quite proud of where we’ve got to now with more to do. But make up your own minds. ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |

Sorry, forgot to answer the OP.
15th Feb is our Valentines party, so superb music and play event, with roses and chocolate fountain thrown in for good measure. ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |

Chameleons Darlastone & Xtasia both good clubs but quite different atmosphere.
Chams is a dress down club on entry. Xtasia feels more like a night club initially, not dress down in the social area which is more like a disco / dance area alongside the bar.
Different vibes but both good clubs.
We love Cupid's too, was our first club!! Dress down too. But it's Manchester so much further if travelling from S.Wales. Worth a visit if you get the chance.
The Attic is also further being in Derby. Only been the once on a quiet night. It's very large, so much so that on a less busy night it felt a big too quiet even though there was still a fair few people in. On a busy night I imagine it would be great. |

Don't think it matters where or what the club looks like, can't please all the people all of the time.
Its the people that are there make the night.
We have been to chameleons (both Newport and Darlingston) and _tasia and loved them all. |
