"Not long for the meerkats to come out of hibernation "
Haha. I was there last summer with a female friend and it was like we were on the African plains |

Really looking forward to being back there.
Not as a meerkat though - I’m just a beach dweller .
I don’t think there’s ever been a dedicated thread for people to post when at Morfa (though there’s certainly been lots of separate threads). Perhaps this could be one? |

Looking forward to hanging out and this very popular nudist beach. Literally let it all hang out , be proud of your shape and size, and enjoy the nice weather |

I’ve been visiting Morfa for quite some time now. Been there naked in all weathers.
I’m not a fair-weather naturist.
I was debating about going this Saturday. It may be cold but it means I can be naked and have the beach to myself...bliss! |

First time I went was early April a few years ago. It was bloomin cold, so I had the place to myself.
Loved it so much though . |

"Where exactly is this. "
A few miles north of Barmouth.
The title of the thread spells it wrong (easily done if not Welsh, it’s Morfa Dyffryn), but google should find it anyway.
It’s a lovely spot. |

On a more serious note - I don’t think it’s the place to be for the foreseeable future. Travelling there is hardly comes under “essential“.
The only nudists there should be locals getting their one bit of exercise.
Frustrating, but necessary, I think. |

If anyone does have info sites opening up there please share. Seems to be different messages coming from different places ATM. I know some sites in Cornwall are staying closed even though guidance suggestions otherwise. |

Missed Morfa Dyffryn! Nice to hear that we should be able to visit again in the next few weeks.
None of us have been able to go there(and I’m Welsh-living in Wales).
Understandable in the current climate but it’s still frustrating when the weather has been so glorious. |

Hey folks.
I was wondering whether any of you regulars could advise whether Dennis's field is planning to re-open for tent stays?
Noticed the regulations on campsites changed on 25th, so hopeful I could take advantage of the warmer weather over the next couple of weeks.
Cheers |

Was there the weekend and upto now no plans to open for tents |

Hmmm, that could be a problem.
I've looked a bit further afield and some of the better websites seem to suggest they might allow tents as soon as regulations allow (which I think is now, assuming safety measures in place).
Will keep looking and post here if I find anything out.
Must have been quite quiet last weekend if a chunk of people can't stay nearby. Probably quite nice! |

We might try and get down on Saturday depending on the weather, if not Saturday then hopefully the following week while we are holidaying in the area. Would be good to chat with others who are planning on going. |

We've just looked at the long range forecast and the weekend looks OK. We'll be arriving on Friday so think we'll be down Saturday and maybe Sunday to try and make the most of it. If anyone else is planning on going we'd love to hear from you. |

Friday looking great weather. Have day off and can’t decide on the 3 hour drive up to Morfa for the afternoon / evening or the one hour drive to Pembrey.
Been to Pembrey numerous times and it’s a bit hit and miss, thinking of trying Morfa for the first time. Anyone going, I would appreciate a PM |

"We want to visit one day next week. We are travelling up from West London in the campervan late friday night and staying along the Snowdonia national park coastline for a week"
You’re best going to the beach on Saturday then |

"is there anywhere more to the south? Aberystwyth area?
naturist area? hot tub? massage? etc etc"
Nothing officially sanctioned. Morfa Dyffryn is the closest for naturism(to Aberystwyth). |

Weather looks good tomorrow (Thursday) so I'm going to make my annual pilgrimage to Morfa.
Impromptu, later in the year than usual and unfortunately no tent overnight but at least I'll be there
If you see me (I'll be the one with the very white arse!) do say hello. |

"Staying in the area from Saturday for a week but the weather forecast doesn’t look to good, hopefully it will change for the better. "
Fingers crossed for you with that i think people will only aloud to travel to work soon and not for short breaks due to the rise of covid |

Yes we are watching the news updates, we are only in the camper and nothing booked so if we are locked down again nothing lost ... |

I remember being there on a very hot day and worrying so much about getting the crown jewels sunburnt that I neglected other areas.
Worst sunburn since I was a kid!
Other than that, my memories are all good. |

You must let me know when you’re going. It would be great to swap suntan lotion with you! |
