I've been thinking of doing a social with a live band after the new year. Of course if anyone knows a song they can get up and sing too. Nothing is set in stone just thought I would see what people's thoughts are x |

We'd have to charge about £1.50 on the door just to cover the cost of the band. I just thought it would be something different. I could get a list of the songs they do and then if anyone wants to get up and sing with them they can x |

I really can't wait for this now. But if there is any songs you want to get up and sing send them over by the new year and if the band don't know it they will learn how to play it by the time the social comes along xx |

"Think £1-50 is too cheap up it a but cover your costs and hard work your putting in if people really want this fiver I'd go for xx
Only problem with that is, other socials are only £1.50/2. "
At the end of the day Ceri has to charge enough to cover costs so she isnt out of pocket.
Some people are so tight moaning about an extra 50p here or a couple of quid there.
If she wants to charge a fiver its a fiver. If you dont want to pay it dont go ........simple. Bubbs |

Not sure where I said I wouldn't pay just that others are more established and cheaper.
And yes cover the costs obviously, she shouldn't be out of pocket for it. She's organising what could be a great social |

Personally I think you are offering something more than just a social so think a little extra is in order. I would work on what a band would charge if it wasn't your husband's band and set the entry fee based on that x |

You're going above and beyond to provide a good night and I'm sure those who attend will be grateful, you could have a tip jar for the band maybe, so attendees can show appreciation if they would like to. |

Sorry all for the delay the venue have been very busy but we are going up Sunday to sort the date and finalise everything. But in the mean time would a Friday or Saturday be better for everyone. Plus if there's any song requests please send them in now so the band got time to learn them xxx |
