Hi all you lovely people. I have a very unusual request. My wife has been battling weight and back 8ssues for some years now. We have finally saved the money for Bariatric surgery and she will be having the procedure next month. The surgeon has told her how much she will lose but she cant imagine what she will look like as a size 16 or 14. If there are any women out there single or couples who are either of these sizes that have profile pics she can look at can you please message us in pvt obviously, don't expect you to announce your size on here. She is 49 years old and 5ft 8. Thanks all xxx |

I (her) am a size 14, 5'8" tall. Your wife can take a look at my pics for an idea of shape/size but dont forget your wife may have a different body shape to me.
All the best for the op and speedy recovery

The only thing I can advise is to make sure your wife exercises regularly (once she has recovered). Surgery will lead to fairly rapid weight loss which will leave her with a lot of excess skin. Exercise will help. I lost 5 stone in 9 months through diet and exercise and I train 3/4 times a week and still have a bit of a wobbly belly. Good luck hope it goes well |

The main thing with these surgeries is to review your diet and lifestyle (not talking about swinging here haha) because if you don't you will just pile it back on again. Someone I know had a tummy tuck so a scar from hip to hip and dropped a load of weight from that and a change in lifestyle. Sadly, I saw her two years later and she had put most of her weight back on. It is hard and you need a lot of personal resolve. Good luck to you... I truly hope you get the results you're longing for and it all works out, just keep at it x |

I'm 5 ft 8 and a dress size 16. I too lost 5 stone. Feel free to take a look at pics. Being completely blunt and honest your likely to be a similar shape as u are now . Just on a smaller scale . I still have my mum tum and dimples on my but lol. Exercise will help but it cant diminish all the wonky bits haha . Good luck! Hope everything goes well xxmiss |
