Many years ago when I first joined on a Monday night there was a couple on here who would frequent Asda Merthyr.
They would give a vague outline of what the wife was wearing, if you found them and asked did they know where a pre determined item was she would follow you out to your car and husband would finish their shopping alone.  |

The problem with the Shopping Bag Tied to the Front of the Trolley gambit was that the forum would be full of people going:
“I was in Waitrose in Tonypandy(!) with a bag tied round the front of my trolley every day for three hours last week and didn’t get stopped by a single person.
