(An Ode to Ducky)
Oh Ducky, you were a happy chap,
A-splashing in the tub,
Showering with the lady fair,
There was lots of "rub-a-dub".
You looked so sleek,
Sunlight glinted of your feathers,
And when she put you up to dry,
You were sturdy in all weathers.
Despite the bubbles and the soap,
You stood tall and proud,
And tho she made you kiss her tushy,
You never did back down.
But now, we have to say goodbye,
To Ducky, of bath-cam fame,
But be assured, our quacky friend,
Your time will come again.
