Possibly lots of people but you need to set a specific date and the criteria of members that you would like to attend.

It has been tried with a Bangor social but didn't really workout, I don't think it will work sorry not enough genuine people in the area

Yes. Maybe you are right . A few genuine ones might make for a better social than a lot of un-genuine ?
