Bridgend Sunday Evening Drinks Social May 19th 6PM.

I am looking to plan another evening at a pub in the Bridgend area. The turn out of the last one was amazing . The pub venue may change every so often but you will all be informed. Details of the location will be sent out a day before the event. But it will always be in the surrounding area and close to the M4. The next one shall be;
SUNDAY MAY 19th at 6:00PM.
It's a chance to relax and unwind after a long week and a great chance to meet new people and mingle with amazing friends.
There is plenty of parking and the venue does great food too.
There is no playing at the event or on the surrounding grounds what so ever.
D*unken and disorderly behaviour also will not be tolerated.
The dress code is smart casual only.
The venue is good enough to reserve an area for us and as such I'd like to have a fair idea of how many people are going to attend. Obviously with this in mind I would like to make sure it's worth the pubs time too. As such I will be implementing a 2 strike rule that if on both occasions your name is down to attend but you fail to show and give no reason more than twice then you will not be allowed to attend future events.
It's too late messaging us after 6pm on the night of the social as the room is already reserved .
PLEASE ONLY ADD YOUR NAMES IF YOU'RE DEFINITELY ABLE TO ATTEND.

To attend you MUST be photo varified or have been on fab over 2 months. Please add your name on the forum or you can also PM me. Anyone new will not get the location till the day of the social and that's once you've confirmed you are definitely attending.
This is so we can keep an eye on the numbers and keep the location safe.
Please DO NOT keep messaging asking for any other Information .

Sorry for saying this, but dude, it is a social in a pub. Dozens of people, most who have never met before and lots of first timers, so you wouldn't be the only one in your situation. Not to mention that the hosts absolutely work their arses off meeting and greeting everyone and taking the time to chat to newcomers and introducing them to people to break the ice.
Just pop along. You won't be out of place and people will give you the time of day. What you do with it and how you conduct yourself is entirely up to you. The same advice applies to everyone who is new, singles or couples. Just try it  . |

Sorry for saying this, but dude, it is a social in a pub. Dozens of people, most who have never met before and lots of first timers, so you wouldn't be the only one in your situation. Not to mention that the hosts absolutely work their arses off meeting and greeting everyone and taking the time to chat to newcomers and introducing them to people to break the ice.
Just pop along. You won't be out of place and people will give you the time of day. What you do with it and how you conduct yourself is entirely up to you. The same advice applies to everyone who is new, singles or couples. Just try it . "

I should have guessed that you would have already tried to take a bite of that cherry  ...
Never mind, it is what it is. People can make their own mind up.... Hey, I'd offer to meet him a couple of days beforehand if it made any difference, but I don't think it would  .

Details will be sent out the weekend of the social, anyone who hasn't attended can you please message me on the day to the social to confirm you ARE DEFINITELY attending. I will then send the location out to you. This has to be done as 20 all cancled last month after I told them where the social was. Many thanks x |

2 weeks today is the next Bridgend Social. The list is looking good and yes theres a mixture of male and female lol
The pub does lovely food if your hungry and theres plenty of parking.
Details will be sent out on the weekend of the social, if youve not added your name you cant attend sorry. |

Is anyone coming from Cardiff that can offer Ericha a lift please. Its his first time at the Bridgend social but ive met him along with others at the Cardiff social. Hes lovely. PM him if your able to. Many thanks x |

A week tomorrow is the long awaited social, seems like forever since i put the post up. Be glad when it arrives and cant wait to see everyone whose made itso successful over the many months. The next one may be Aug and we be celebrating a year of running it then xx |

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the Bridgend Sunday evening drinks social, it was a fantastic turn out with over 45 attending.
The next one will be Aug. Dates TBC closer to the time x |
