We are looking to plan another evening at a pub in the Bridgend area. The turn out of the last one was amazing with over 60 The pub venue may change every so often but you will all be informed. Details of the location will be sent out a day before the event. But it will always be in the surrounding area and close to the M4. The next one shall be on the Sunday 24th March at 6pm
It's a chance to relax and unwind after a long week and a great chance to meet new people and mingle with amazing friends.
There is plenty of parking and the venue does great food too.
There is no playing at the event or on the surrounding grounds what so ever.
D*unken and disorderly behaviour also will not be tolerated.
The dress code is smart casual only.
The venue is good enough to reserve an area for us and as such we would like to have a fair idea of how many people are going to attend. Obviously with this in mind we would like to make sure it's worth the pubs time too. As such we will be implementing a 2 strike rule that if on both occasions your name is down to attend but you fail to show and give no reason more then twice then you will not be allowed to attend future events. This means actually coming into the reserved room and not sitting by the bar all night.
Its too late messaging us on the night of the social as the room is already reserved .
Please only add your names if your definitely able to attend.

To attend you MUST be photo varified or have been on fab over 2 months. Please add your name on the forum or you can also PM me. Anyone new will not get the location till the day of the social and thats once youve confirmed you are definitely attending.
This is so we can keep an eye on the numbers and keep the location safe.
Please DO NOT message asking for any other info as we wont have time to reply and everything you need is in here. This forum thread is for the social only. Please do not put any other issues on here and if your not attending please can you pm us privately. Many thanks and see you soon xx

Due to the large number of people who attended last night the manager has offered us a room twice the size of the original room we use. We need over 60 to 70 to use it. I know last night got a bit cramped and the room was very warm for some.
If we do get this larger function room it will be to the right as you enter the premises. Will keep everyone posted  |

Trying to not act on how im feeling right now but this maybe the last social im doing. Its getting to much for me and as things are right now ive far more important things to worry about and deal with. Will keep you posted. |

After further discussions with hubby we have decided to step down from organising the Bridgend Sunday Evening drinks social. We have too many personal things going on and its become incredibly stressful. March will still go ahead but we are looking for someone to take over asap. Anyone interested can you PM us please. Thsnkyou to everyone who has attended. Its been incredible . Xx |

The Bridgend Sunday evening drinks social will continue but after tomorrow it will be every 3 months. Thankyou to all the friends for their advice & support. Its been a tough few weeks and I made the decision at the time when I wasnt feeling myself. I dont want to give it up so will try it this way. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow xx

CHANGE OF PLANS.The pub has moved us into the back function room as we had no many last month. They have only just told me. So anyone seeing this please come to the right as u walk into the pub and around the corner. Sorry for the inconvenience x |
