Can anyone give advice on how to get there heading from Llandudno way.
Last we went we got there accidently after spending about an hour driving around a small airfield trying to find out way down to the beach.
Thanks in advance.
Will be going down next week during half term. |

Look for signs to Llanbedr or tap it into a satnav. Then take a right turn just past the pub on the left and drive down towards the Shell Island camp site.
I know which airfield you mean. Had me the first time as well.
Good luck and have fun. |

Morning OP
Expect the beach to be quiet this time of the year as most of the caravan and camping sites dont open till March 1st.
If you are looking for action, if indeed there is any, head for the part about half way between the posts indicating the official naturist area.
If the posts are still standing that is !!
There is a gap in the sand dunes, go around the back of there and also across the top.
Best of luck, it's a beautiful beach there.
I use the Benar Beach, Dyffryn Seaside Estate car parks and walk up the beach, just a bit father down than Llanbedr.
Have a great time there.
