I can’t be the only person to be put off by this surely?

I’ve just come across a fairly new couple’s profile declaring that first night in Chams was a success. Yet they’ve posted photos from there?!?!

What the actual fuck?!

"Is it actually from inside Chams? "

Yup. Sex swings. Play furniture. St Andrews cross.

Very distinctive Chams Newport decor and a status declaring first night at Chams was a success.

If its photos they have taken of them selves and its not secret non consensual photography of others I don't see its an issue personally.

I know cameras aren't allowed but its a shame. Id love pics of myself taken on all the bdsm furniture . I can also understand peoples worries incase their faces were caught in the photo. That's a terrifying thought then.

In one club there was a room where you take photos. Others stayed outside till it was clear to enter x

It’s not so much the pictures themselves as to the fact if they’re willing to flaunt rules of club ie no phones past changing room what other rules are they going to break? How can you trust they haven’t taken more photos that they haven’t posted? Say from smoking area? Or through two way mirror? Or other people in dungeon areas.

I’d love photos of my sessions at Chams, Angels, Secrets etc especially after being in full sub mode complete with rope harness at Angels. But it’s against the rules....

I can see the pros and cons to this but quite frankly Chams would lose a lot of loyal customers including ourselves if photos were allowed in there.

The scene has shown me that you really cannot trust anybody and we go there for adult time without fear of pictures being taken.

Definitely report to Kez when ya go next

This is really bad news. We wouldn't go to any clubs if people were taking pics left right and centre. I get that you'd want pics of yourself in certain scenarios but rules are rules and they are there for a reason i.e so that everyone feels safe.

If they are a new couple why do we just message them politely and tell them the rules of the swinging scene, maybe they don’t know as they are newbies.

I remember when we were new I wanted photos everywhere but our new friends told us where and why which helped!

I have tried to look for them and photos but can’t find anything, I would send them a message otherwise.

They just might not have had the rules explained as it could of been there first club visit, as we all no the rules that cameras and phones r a no no, they should be contacted and asked to take them off fab, but if they have been told then they dont give a shit and should be banned.

We paid our first visit on Friday. Were told on that anyone with a phone/camera in the club gets banned for life, which we found re-assuring.

So looks like they new and did it any way so as Chams said should be banned, so name and shame.

This is disappointing, we were there Friday night (all be it briefly), but that’s really disrespectful to Chams and the people who went.

In all honesty it wouldn’t surprise me if the rules weren’t explained to them, especially if Kez wasn’t the one to book them in or they went with a regular visitor/s where the staff assumed they would know the rules. Rules are rules as they say, however personally we see no issue as long as it’s only them that are in the photos, but understand the concerns of the possibility of them taking pics elsewhere

We booked in with kez as did 2 other couples , the rules were explained to each couple as keys and towels were handed over! I think that a complete abuse of trust to knowingly take your phone out of the locker rooms and take photos of anything or anyone ! Mrs

Well if we can have the name of the couple we can tell them and ask them to remove their photos!

There really is no point in getting upset or cross or trying to shoot them down, let’s explain to them how we feel as a community or alternatively send admin their name so that they are banned for a bit and whoever has Kez number or if they phone Chams they can explain.

We were all new once, I really think this couple just didn’t know!

I don't see an issue in a locked room, but an open room I'd be reporting them to Kez or other staff on that night.

we've visited many clubs all over the UK and they are all very strict on their policy of pictures and privacy .

I personally don't agree with phones being used at any sort of party or club. I was noticed in the background of a picture at a social event which caused uncomfortable issues with work. Fortunately it wasn't during a playing meet as I have identifiable tattoos and scars. I just denied that it was me and fortunately it was just a side shot of my head. I'd definitely report it to kez as its against the rules, period.

Hi everyone.

It's our profile.

We are extremely sorry and can assure you we took 5 photos whilst inside (3 of J and 2 of myself) and they were taken just before we left. We had an amazing time and if we had known we would never of taken them. We were so nervous when we went and maybe he did tell us we couldn't use our phones but with the nerves (and excitement) we obviously didn't take it in. I assumed we wasn't allowed photos of others but didn't know we couldn't have any of us. I was actually sat in the bar messaging people on here and wasn't told by anyone I couldn't use my phone. We genuinely don't want to upset anyone and I have deleted the photos. We are very new to this and don't really know the do's and dont's yet. I appreciate the lovely lady who messaged us to explain. I must admit I am abit upset and embarrassed that this post is on here though as like our profile suggests we are very new to this I would hate to think we would be banned from Chams as we had such a great time. Please accept our genuine and sincere apologises and know that this will never happen again.

I hope to meet some of you in Chams in the near future

Xx

We feel for that poor couple.

They are new & instead of publicly humiliating them by making a thread about tbem on a open forum you could of quiet easily just took 2 minutes to message them directly!!!

And it takes a lot of guts to come on to a forum and apologise so well done you.

Hopefully this won't put you off attending chams in the future.

Phone's are banned unfortunately this is ignored by many who go to chams and know the rules. I'll be honest and say its sadly females I see the most walking around with them. Huge credit to the couple for ‘fessing up.

We’ve all been new and nervous once (long time ago in my case!) and I can see how you could get over excited and want to grab some pics on the play equipment.

Very different doing that when on your own from taking photos of people behind their back.

It’s clear the young couple will learn from their mistake and hopefully will be back swinging (camera & phone free) very soon!
