"Biggar is amazing but offers zero in attack and Anscombe is a walking error at times.
Doesn't matter though, we'll not win anything with that pack. "
Anscombe is a liability at best
I feel sorry for him it's cringeworthy at this level |

Would like to see us win the whole thing but being honest if wales plays like that against Ireland or even England there's not a hope.
To me France went to peices in 2nd half & lost it, if not for the 2 tries by big GN then we would not have won.
If someone who never watched rugby before watched that match & you told them wales is in the top 5 of the world they would not believe it!!
Depends on how game is today I think Ireland are going to win again but there will be no Grand Slam this year. |

The rain/sleet made for many errors - do you think playing under a roof these days reduces these skills? |

I don't think it helps, but they all play for clubs in the rain/wind & snow |

We have the advantage of having England at home
After that performance if we had to go to Twickers I'd be sweating. But on home turf and playing like we can, we can pip it |

Always fancy Wales at home. But England were very quick off the line (borderline offiside) and didn’t allow Ireland to gain any momentum. Its going to be an interesting Six Nations. |

Always a hard one against the English but I think we will edge them this year and Eddie had the cheek to say we've been sending spies on England training I'm sorry but who wants to see them practice there high tackles haha |

"Thoughts on the team?? 10 changes"
Well Wales have come unstuck before by doing so many changes. But at the end of the day they should beat Italy.
What do you think? As a turk I'm glad bigger is playing x |

It's going to be his world cup squad for the England game as a tester to see if he needs to tweek a few players he's picked.
Btw anscombe to start and bring biggar on if we need control.
Must say navidi has played outstanding in both games. |

Just my luck, I can see the stadium from my hotel window but will be working tonight, not going to match.
If you fancy being fucked nicely by the English, I have this room until 5pm... otherwise, you will have to wait for the match to begin at 16:45 to be mercilessly fucked by the English, haha |

" After that first half I didn't see a way back, much more clinical late on in the 2nd half. "
This is the World Cup preparation against Real World teams. I just hope nobody else works out that Wales have a Plan A, which we switch out for Plan B when Plan A has done it's job.
I have to hand it to Gatland and his coaching staff. That defence was meteoric and it was only a debatable steal that gave England a lead at all. They didn't look like scoring all match except for that. The fact that in the replays almost every Welsh player had their hands up asking "What?/How?/Why" as he crossed the line says plenty. It was a rogue moment. Apart from that blip, that defence was probably the most solid defence I have seen from any team anywhere in the last year.
But to build a score, keep up in touch with a world class team for 60 minutes with Plan A and play with the ball in hand, smash smash and smash again to make the yards, score with a 34 (Holy Fuck!) phase try, and then again use Plan B to bring in the kicking game with Biggar to score the definitive try.... Well..... It was something special.
No disrespect to the Scots, but come on Ireland..... The Grand Slam is ours to take now! |

Tactically spot on from the boys.
Played as narrow as possible for 60 mins. Then introduced a simply awesome number 10 who showed Mr Farrell Jnr how to control and win a game.
So happy to see the boys able to mix it up and change tactics when and where needed. England simply had no plan B and going back a few years that would of been us.
Well done boys, 12 unbeaten bring on the next. |

Congratulations on winning the grandslam Wales.
Ive just spoke to the Scotland boys, we have decided to give you a wee game but will NOT be interested in trying to win the match. More than happy for wales to take the Grand Slam. No chance we could allow England the chance of winning the 6 nations. You can all buy me a pint since i will be working in Caerfilly for the next week. Ps i am born and bred Wales just lived in Scotland all my life. |

So it's match day again....hopefully all the off field bullshit of this week won't have gotten to the players.
I'm always a bit nervy about the Scots away but I've gone for us by 12. Come on Wales |

As Long as the players haven’t been effected by all the off the field issues and forget about any grand slam and purely just concentrate on going to Murrayfield and doing a professional job wales will be ok..... look to far ahead and Scotland are more than capable of turning us over.
My personal view is we will win but it will be close.
Scotland 19 - wales 26 |

Bonus point for us.
Interesting how quiet the great Irish rugby nation has gone in recent weeks too, not even a post up about today's game.
Looking forward to the very last match. |

It's sports, never ever write off an opponent. They're on the pitch, not in the stands!
Confident it's WALES year though. |

We like to keep quiet untill the job is done, not like a certain team who claim they have won the grand slam before they have even played a game lol. (England) |

We did it! That's all that matters. Yes second half wasn't thrilling shall we say. But we defended superbly well. It's only exciting if it's running rugby when the ball is in hand. Let's not forget it's more tiring defending. I'm proud of our boys . Let's hope they have reserved their energy for next week. Scotish lads gave our boys a hammering up front so credit to them as well. They did what was needed to secure the win. Both teams plays well. Roll on super Saturday! Look out xxmiss |

Shakey against the Scots.
Can we reset and be strong against the Irish and bring home an historic 3rd "Slam" for Gatland?
Is halfpenny the magic and will he be fit enough to play?
Liam Williams has been a major force with his style of play. Will e be fit?
And finally......Who should play 10? |

I'm praying Sanjay will be fit
Halfpenny is a nono for me atm
If needs must I'd be tempted to put Biggar at 15 and leave Anscombe at 10.
Anscombe can be a liability defensively and under the high ball so can't risk him at 15
It's too big a game to sling Halfpenny back into after so long out and only 1 game for the Turks since being back.
Sanjay is magic and we need him |

Fancy coaching Wales instead of Pivac next season miss p ??
As an incentive to get them training you could run ahead of them and see who catches up with you.... no that's possibly a stupid idea... |

Potentially could have been a very skilled match, most likely kick and run and pick up scraps game with the weather. Whoever wins, the others will blame the weather now. |

What a coach Warren Gatland is . The only coach to win 3 Grand Slams.
Cant the WRU get him to stay.
So glad Anscombe had a good came too as he has come in for a lot of critism and has proved people wrong.

"Easy win for the boys well done, proud to be Welsh"
Frickin wasn't an easy win at all! It came down to the first couple of minutes. First the kick off, then the line out and the pressure (I mean, wtf was Ken Owens doing taking the ball alone solo in to contact??.??) but it rattled Ireland enough to put one defensive player out of place and the 'free' play given by the penalty meant Bradders got to make Ainscombe out to be a god.
From then, Wales built upon the foundations. They got the early score. The psychology of Ireland losing a 7 pointer in the first 2 minutes can never be underestimated. Master stroke by the "Gatt-ling Gun"...
We absolutely deserved it. Make no mistake. But rugby is a little bit more than ball in hand and accurate passing. Today I think we witnessed Gatlend's master stroke.
Fuck the World Cup (we will be finalists!).... Take today. Take it all. We just dominated the two other championship rivals by a margin.
Japan? Bring it.
