great social , met lots and had a good laugh , if you saw a guy with a bald head , glasses and a waistcoat ... that was me .. drop me a verif if we met or caught each others eye lol .

i was there......
ijust stood at the far end of the bar on my own.
saw plenty of sexy ladies.
I'm a londoner but love the welsh.
great crowd all enjoying themselves , best behaviour .  |

Thanks Guys for a great social and thanks to everyone we met and chatted with.
Mr Dory wants to know who the blond was at top of rear steps behind bar. Kiss or £1 fee to pass her, obviously he offered the kiss and made more trips to the bar than usual.  |

Much better if you know someone or a few there
First time for us as not lived in wales long
Saw a fair few couples sitting in 2s not knowing anyone
Tried to engage but was very busy and noisy in all areas ..
We did 2 hours - sadly apart from the nice lady who said to go past it was a £1 or a kiss everyone seemed to be in groups
Was told by organiser they make sure it doesn’t happen
We understand very busy but
Idea
Have an area for the first time visitors with a ‘host’ to intro them to each other
Also been to clubs where wrist bands with diff colours to indicate interests ( bi - straight etc )
Not sure how it would work BUT for first timers a bit more thought as to how to get them chatting
We all now why we are there BUT loud situations with alcohol in abundance makes it a tough proposition.. |

You should have said on the social thread that it was your first Newport social and you would have had a few messages of people willing to make sure you were introduced.

I havent been to anything like socials or swinging clubs myself.. But that was well said! |

Being new is always difficult, just start chatting on the forum for the social. We are from Bristol and started chatting to others going arranged to meet at the pub and then come in with them. I have found this social to be one of the best and friendliest group of people ever. I (Charley) have come on my own a few times and always had a good time. You need to network lol x Thanks to the hosts who care so much too, you are a fabulous pair x |

Exactly this. We we're all new once. You only get out of these events and clubs what you out in. In the six years I've been on here I've missed two socials. Two too many! By moving around the venue and socialising I have now been fortunate to meet so many great people some I class as fantastic friends. All from social events xx |

If u have never been then I think u are in no position to make any sort of comment...
An as many people have done they have stated in forum that it's there first time, an I'm sure they have commented to say they had a great time |

You missed out there, it was all in good jest and I always paid in kisses but then I'm a massive flirt. Not one pound changed hands all night but she got plenty of kisses (she would have anyway)

I didn't recognise anyone from there profiles ..not sure anyone recognised me either .. 
Mind you I did have about 10 pints of carling as I stood at the end of the bar all night .
Then 15 minutes by the exit towards the end watching people dance .. |
