"Been on this morning and been totally ignored by *"^holes on there"
Attitudes like that mean you get ignored!!!
Just dive in, say hi, let ppl know you are a newbie, and they will chat.... simples!!
It aint cliquey, its just that ppl are regulars on here and know lots of others.

"Not sure but I agree that it is clicky. With a few exceptions who make an effort for newbies."
Kat and horny34 you are two of the exceptions i was referring 2. But it def can be cliquey in there times. Esp for single males. |

oh another "why is everyone ignoring me i'm a single guy so i'll post on the forums and whinge type post"
the main reason i ignore people is either i have tried to say hi and get ignored or they are fucking arse holes who have no idea about the scene and expect everyone to be their friends remember that because you say hi to a couple or single fem you are excluding everyone else so it is only right that they exclude you
If you are expecting a 4 hour conversation then you have to work for it remember because you are sitting behind the pc screen dont mean you can be rude to people some people like to read the convo in the room and will be happy to ignore you where others will talk complaining in the forums get you noticed for the wrong reasons |

people in this site have rights and preferences just as anyone you talk to in the street or a bar... some may like you , some may not... you have to not take things so personal, relax and take things steady and you,ll find people open up to you more... |

Just join with in people, be polite but crash the chat.
Expect banter, but rememeber its not personal and there is no malice.
You only get what you put in. Ffnnrr Ffnnrr |

I found the Wales forum one of the friendliest. All are pretty welcoming as long as you aint pushy, that goes for all forums/site u hit though. Not seen any cliques.
Some nice people on there - I like |

I have never found the site cliquey and I always try to say hi to everyone who enters the room. I think that what people presume to be a "clique" is the fact that some of us have met at socials, parties, meets etc and then obviously we know each other so the chat and banter will be more personal. My advice is to just join in with the banter, be polite and respectful, oh and a sense of humour goes a long way too. |

I don't really like chat rooms as they're relatively unsophisticated - in terms of software that is. I always find it hard to separate out the chat and who is saying what. Looking forward to seeing how they improve on what's there already.
I haven't found that I'm ignored though but then I don't say anything provocative which is usually what gets peoples backs up |
