when fab started it was great fun not many knew each other and most migrated fro other sites.
Now its nowhere near as good due to many things including human nature at first people did not know each other but over time we block ,dont like ,fall out with loads .add to this the idiots who mess people about with little or no effective sanctions has made it hardly worth it.
sort of like buying a new car wow great at first all new and everything works after a bit things go wrong but you put up with it then the time comes when you say enough is enough and get rid of it.
our expirience is about an 02 reg mondeo lol |

It should also have a joining age cap -far too many 19/20/21 year olds on the site. with all due respect, they've hardly any experience of life, let alone the fabbing world! |

It's impossible how can you?
Most on here lie about their age and nothing can be done.
It has just evolved for better or worse as most good intentioned ideas do.irs just human nature. |

For us it’s the saturation of single guys. Yes we do meet single guys, but there’s just so many on here who have no real idea of the dynamics of swinging and think it’s purely a hookup site. Not to mention the ones who get upset when you don’t meet their demands |

Undoubtedly there is a saturation of men on here, but surely the use of filters counters that?
I guess we all need to put effort into using the site, to get out of it what we want?
We all use the site to seek what we ourselves want, but sometimes forget that every other member takes that approach too! |

not really true is it though. the reason there are loads of men on here is that men usually want sex more and most of the time . women don't it is built into us as animals .we still have the basic instinct to reproduce.
cpls and fems have the foof to offer .

Stagnvixen hit the nail on the head for me. Many single men I come across appear to be only interested in just getting laid rather than the swinging side of it all. Not what I’m after, and so I prefer to meet at socials these days. Most people there are likeminded. |

swinging was around way before trhe internet.
It was sort of like the masons you had to find a away into the scene through people hinting at you if you seemed open minded about swinging etc.
people met up in regular parties and had sex. They went there to have sex not to "find a conection" they already had they went to meet their friends who were into sex with others. there were no socials chat rooms etc.
so yes it was puerly to meet up to have sex. the internet has made swinging less and less about having sex and has become more of a social network site with a little bit of sex included.
How many people on here cannot make meets but can ALWAYS make a social?
we have know loads on here who over 10 years have hardly had a meet .so who changed the dynamic? the people who change it for what they want .
e.g we go to a naturist site and over the years swingers have made it a clothed site they say its what every you want it to be etc but it is not ! its a site owned buy a business and they ARE a naturist campsite they do have rules but the people who say its what ever you want it to be have ruined the place. no different to fab . |

We agree with this, the amount of messages from single guy's who dp not read the profile is crazy, we're polite and say no thanks but then met with why or abuse. |

Buck I totally agree with you, as you know I have been off and on here over the years and have seen the ups and downs of fab, yet lately its not getting any better... Why I stay here... I dunno it may be cos I like to have a nose about in the hope of a meet. The early days were the best esp on chat where we all had fun. Good luck mate |

I agree it's now not really a swinging site anymore more of chatting forum but it still has its odd bonuses.
I don't really expect to meet many on here anymore. If I want to meet I will go to a dogging site or a sex club. I think people just need to see the site for what it is (kinky Facebook).
I refuse to pay nowadays as there are no benefits, the saturation of generic men just turned it into tinder so the couples and women are already on the defensive before you start.
I find pay only sites are better for meets as you lose the 98% who are just curious and want to socialise.
I think it's a good site for socials and I keep in touch with the odd friends but that's it really.
That's my 10 pence worth anyway  |

For us Fab has become the home of chancers, cheaters, fantasists.( not just single males)
Our time really is precious to us as we get very little together so if we're looking to play then a club visit seems so much less hassle than trying to wade through the above to find what we're looking for.
As for the social side of swinging we have seen some massive fall outs with grounds within this scene so we try to stay under the radar also we don't have enough spare time to socialise with our life long friends so not really looking for new friends.
Saying all this if people have the time and patience for Fab then I'm sure it's rewarding. X |

I’m sure the site has changed and grown. I don’t find it that different, but totally accept others have different views and experiences.
The only thing I would say is that when I joined eight years ago, I distinctly remember established members saying the site wasn’t what it used to be  |

I do see how the site has changed, but not that much.
Being one of the first members, I still see the idiots who were there from the beginning, the timewaisters, the cheating partners, and the idiotic messages, picture collectors, and people making money from it.
The only thing that has dramatically changed is the chat rooms.
They have had to change to keep up the demand of technology and the way people now socialise via that technology.
I've always said it from the beginning.."the site is what you put into it and not what the site can do for you"
Buck I know we had a great group of people at the beginning and wow we had some major laughs, bust ups, friends, and fun, but society has changed, numbers have risen, and at the end of the day, it's a business and has to do what it can to continue to raise revenue.

Agree with above comments...been here quite a while now seeing things change from the site itself to the people joining...some things for the best and others for sure not so much!!!!
One thing that won't change..if your a twat in life you won't get far so keep on trying to enjoy and every now and again people pop up and make it all worthwhile again!!  |

In the real World there are nice people and shockers. There are Swingers and others ! There are know it alls and also pain in the arses.
In real life we make decisions who we want to associate with so it’s just the same here!
We are glad that someone provides a website where we can meet like minded people and puts in the effort to keep it running.

But would you move form a nice area to a very rough area full of antisocial idiots and illiterate people who are socially inept ?

Well simple answer is don’t moan about it, if your not happy leave the site, everything in life has its ups and downs and swinging will be no different, we seem to find club meets are the way forward lately but have still made many friends here.

Hey Buck, it has changed a lot over the last 10 to 15 years. Or is it that we've got older?
I personally reckon, you should pay after say a week free. There are way too many chancers, idiots and fake profiles on here.
Its easier to meet people on the social, club scene. Finding meets as a single fella is almost impossible , and as a couple only slightly better... |

Of course rough areas have nice people but the majority are not .yes there are filters but no ones that count (e.g. how many times the same ip address has been used time after time to create a new profile )this could easily be stopped by blocking the ip address of idiots.
there is a profile with regular meet today's up they messed us about for 4 hours with stupid messages and gave us the runaround for hours.they are still here ! i could go on but after all i have said i'll leave it there . its like trying to agree over brexit a no win situation . |
