Not long now, I love the punk weekend at Butlins although this is my first time at minehead. Normally I go to Skegness but with a lineup like this I couldn’t miss it Do many fabbers head to the alternative weekends, everyone seems more keen on the 80s events. |

The line up is amazing.
Not sure too many local fabbers will be at the alternative weekend as it's a bit of a marmite music.
Punk gigs are definitely pulling in big numbers at the moment maybe due to the age of the bands and people realising that they won't be around for too much longer.

I really can’t wait, I just hope they don’t put all the bands I want to see on opposite each other which is what normally happens. Who are you looking forward to seeing, I have seen most of them but I’ve never seen Toyah. She was the first crush I had when I was a kid i’m hoping I still feel the same when I see her now she’s 60 ?? It’s a shame that there won’t be a few of us there could be an interesting after show party.

Complete vanilla weekend for us as we're at the event for the music.
Looking forward to seeing the undertones, sham69 and many others.. just had another peek at the line up and noticed Bad manners are playing which is a bonus as we love Ska music. |

Love Buster, seen him several times And you can still do it. I love their version of I can’t take my eyes off you I think it was an original Andy Williams hit.
I think Neville staple is there as well if you like ska he’s really good plays a lot of it specials stuff, last time I saw him he was stoned of his head |

It sounds like we may find ourselves most of the same gigs over the weekend, anti nowhere league, Peter and the test-tube babies I’ve loved those bands since my days at school, seen them many times over the years but like you say you never know when they’ll stop |
