We live 5 miles from there my daughter had her wedding reception there great views if you get the sea facing. Central to the shops and pubs also depend on when you are going winter had a lot older people |

It's not a bad hotel but has seen better days.
It depends what your looking for there are some really nice hotels along the sea front the Imperial or the George . |

The Grand is a very tired Hotel it needs money spending on it. Pick anyone of the larger seafront Hotels and yes even though most will be slightly more expensive, you won't waste your money. |
