Cardiff, where to live?

I’m moving down to Cardiff in February for work but not to clued up on the area. Can anyone recommend any good areas to rent please?

Ystrad Rhondda

Depends what you're looking for and where you'll be working. Getting in and out of town is easier than going across it...

West Wales and Cardiff

My favourite area is Canton.

Close to the city centre, nice community feel, great arts centre, lots of cultural stuff going on, some nice bars opening up.

Not cheap, but a vibrant area.
