There use to be meet in bangor few years back but that died a death , than we lost pennant hall , so there is nothing in north wales now so if you arrange something be happy to attend but need plenty notice xx |

Can anyone think of anywhere in bangor/llandudno that we could arange it then somewhere like a pub or small resturant would be ideal like 'the castle'in bangor (next to new look) and im thinking start of December |

Wetherspoons is always a good place, as there's usually plenty of room.
Don't go to the effort of trying and booking private areas or rooms 
You just need an identifier, so people know who you are, a potted pampas grass does the trick 
Just don't go publicising the venue on the open forum, all people wishing to attend should mail you directly for details, then you're more in control of the event |

Looks like a few more have said yes so hope they confirm and hope you get numbers right you dont want too many sgl males just wont work if there are lol. A good mix of cpls ladies and sgl guys. Sgl guys are easy to find lol |

also they will be a rule for everyone that it is STRICTLY a social... if you want to 'play or meet' after thats fine but we dont want to get outselves a bad name for doing stuff im public, im hoping to xo a spcial meet every other month or more even depending on how it goes, so if anyone doesnt follow this rule will be put on the black list for further events. Sorry if i sound bad but i dont want us all to be kicked out and banned haha |

I'd like to come and meet some of you good people, but I'm away. That said, I think I'm the type of person who'd prefer to at least be on message swapping terms before assuming I'd be welcomed.

I also tried a few years ago to set up a social in the Bangor area only had 4 people turn up because it was during the week. I think it is a good idea to try again as there is nothing in north wales now and would be willing to join along with my partner  |

Such a shame some individuals spoil it for the rest and you have had to look at other venues after so much effort has been put in already, Good that you heard about it before they just turned up. Hope it goes well. |

In my experiences, most men tend to stay away from the group, just looking and maybe hopping there is a table full of women, desperate.... Unfortunately, that has not yet happened outside a Thai bar....
