Couldn't agree more. Same people talking the same crap day in day out.
Surely a chatroom is all about chatting up people in the main plus some regular chit chat.
Ours seems to be all about people massaging each others egos even tho they have never met.

From what I have seen in the directing rooms, it's very tame.
I ask someone to do some naked ironing, nothing, Naked tea drinking, nothing.
So not at all impressed with directing rooms. Do you think it's me or them them? |

Totally agree enough directing rooms and tbh wales chat is getting like a directing room with about 6 people being banned in a space of 15 mins for directing ! |

Absolutely agree. I have dropped in maybe 3 or 4 times since coming back to the site, it is a massive disappointment compared to how it was a couple of years ago. Chatrooms for chat, directing rooms for directing - seems straightforward to me. |

Forum rooms are very disorganised, it's like being in a pub and everyone is trying to talk to each other, and the amount of creeping and brown nosing going on is embarrassing.
Sadly I don't know the solution so have to live with it. |

People are ignorant, very clicky and of you've turned down one of the popular chatters you can actually read them slagging you off whilst trying not say your user name.
The clever people actually have meets and not waste time talking crap in the chat room. It's more like Facebook than any other part of this site  |

The wales chat room is a close comunity, and other users come to the wales room from other parts of the country. So if it is so clicky, and ignorant, then why do people go out of their way to come into wales and say how freindly the room is ?
If you start to type instead of sitting silent, then you will get noticed. If you think your going to sit on the side lines and expect people to talk to you just because you are there then I think you are mistaken

Was that really necessary, from either poster? Why not quietly agree to differ? But it does illustrate how divisive the chatrooms can be.
On a slightly different point, can anyone explain why there is a Wales chatroom at all? Why not a Southwest or East Anglia room, for instance? I can't see the consistency - what if all the Geordies fancied a good chat together, where's their room...

Why shouldn't there be a Wales room? Theres a Scottish one! And I do believe there is a Northern one too!!!!
Wales is a COUNTRY of the UK just like Scotland. As for other chatrooms then I don't have a clue but getting back to the original post.....there are FOUR directing rooms so no need for one just for the Welsh. |

Cjinvinsable, as usual no one is allowed to say anything negative. Our post was our VIEW and we haven't said it's fact.
As for your comments about sitting on the sidelines, your talking crap sadly because we've tried but we try to use the chatroom to talk to people we'd like to meet and not just chat about daily crap and saying how wonderful eachother are even tho most haven't actually met.
So in a nutshell we're we don't share your passion for the chatroom but we'd prefer to actually swing rather than talk crap (again just our view and not fact). Learn to accept others points of view, it may actually help improve things |

At the end of the day the site is what it is. It suits different purposes for different people but not accepting any negative views and then getting personal is just mad.
I (ray) have been guilty in the past of jumping on a thread and over stating my view and getting personal but what did I gain out of it? NOTHING at all.
There's people on here we go out of our way to avoid and no doubt others do with us but I've at least learnt to respect their view because that's all it is, a view. It isn't fact and nor our my comments, it's just my view on things.

Exactly, which is why there are so many directing rooms on here. IMO chat rooms are for chat (the clue is in the name see) obviously there needs to be cams, nothing better than chatting to someone face to face, it gets rather distracting sometimes with all the shananigans going on, the latest annoying thing for me is all the fetish banter, ffs if thats what youre into join a fetish site nothing turns my stomach more than the incestuous chat that is being bandied around at the moment, Just an opinion |

Obviously directing isn't allowed and neither is actively encouraging people to direct. Playing on cam shouldn't be confused with actively encouraging.
As always , if you don't like someones chat or cam, click on the block button and they will disappear.
Anything that you see in chat that you think Admin need to look at,click on the persons profile and REPORT it as all chat is logged. |

If a woman has something protruding from her nether regions then surely she is after a little encouragement by way of directing. It is very offputting and although yes we could block said people we can still see all the numpties directing. Yesterday there were loads and not one single mod online. When I was a moderator in chat rooms years ago we had a shift system. Now I understand that mods do not get paid for their time (i had my internet phone bill paid for me back then) but it would be in the site owners interest to assign *s to more regular chatters. |

Playing on cam doesn't mean you want to be directed, and why some people play on cam in no directing rooms.
Yesterday was New Years Eve, I am guessing mods might have had other things to do  BUT I also know there were mods on yesterday, maybe it just wasn't when you were logged in.
I think the point of some posts is people actually want to be mods, if you click on the CONTACT button you can put yourself forward there....(assuming people would want to mod with Admins rules and not what they think should happen of course)
All I can do is tell you what Admin say are the rules of what is allowed and not allowed....if you want those rules changed then you will need to ask Admin in the Feedback Chat section.

For gods sake, stop sitting on the fence and listen to what people are saying.
No one's asking to be a mod at all. If mods actually lived upto thiet name and moderated the welsh chat room then there wouldn't be so many people saying it's crap.
Mod's are the faces of a swinging site yet all people do is big themselves up and talk crap.
This site isn'tperfect so why pretend it is. You don't allow other sites to be mentioned in mails which is a load of crap and you massage the ego's of the few.

Firstly, some of the ppl who have mentioned the mods have openly said in chat that they would like to be mods themselves. Secondly, having moderated the Wales room for several years it isn't as easy as you seem to think to strike a balance between the chat and banter and keeping some semblance of order. I really think that a lot of ppl forget that mods are swingers too sometimes. Yes I know full well that the Wales room resembles a zoo at times and can be directing central but it's a small minority who encourage directors and they know when they can get away with it! Would ppl prefer mods that purely came in to enforce the rules and didn't chat etc or friendly mods that join in with the banter. I know from personal experience that the mods will be damned either way |

I've joked about wanting to be a mod but I wouldn't do it for love nor money. People would just take advantage of my good nature anyway.

I suggest you lay off the ale before you post if you are going to get things so wrong.
I have answered on this thread to clarify what the rules are.
I don't own the site so in turn I can't do anything to change things...be that about chat rules or links in mails.
The only people who can change things for you are the site owner...maybe aim your d*unken posts at them in the Feedback section. |

Omg what has this thread turned into ? The question posed by the OP was what do we THINK about a welsh directing room ! General consensus seems to be that there already numerous directing rooms and there is a lot of directing already goes on in the welsh chat anyway !
Suggestions that those who insist on directing and encouraging just go to a DIRECTING room and leave the wales chat for CHATTING ! ..... Simple really its not like its rocket science or quantum physics now is it ? |

I agree with you newbies this thread has changed context from the original post but is that a bad thing? Almost every post indicates that people are not happy with what the Wales chatroom has became. I also agree with Us2's d*unken (his own words not mine) post it is about time someone started listening, and acting on what members are actualy asking for, and I also agree with Vampy's post on how difficult it can be to moderate the rooms, and still be an active swinger. I am unaware of any mandate that moderators may be given by Admin but I'd hope it would be one of fairness first and foremost with an understanding that the rules apply to everyone, and are adhered too without any grey areas, which IMO is not the case at the moment, which may take us back to Vampy's comment about moderators that simply enforce rules and dont chat, is this what everyone wants? I would personally rather be banned from chat untill I learned to behave appropriatley than carry on with the chat room as it stands. |

this thread has taken many twists and turns, and has been interesting to read and see the different views, but I dont think it will actually change anything.
People will always play on cam, regardless of room, and there will always be the "director" in that room, (aimed at chat rooms as opp the dir rooms) that wants to "encourage" and its just sods law there are no mods around to see it. Yes, it IS a chat room, but it is a tad off putting when the whole room is "encouraging" and "directing" someone. Its is very easy to block people, but why should you have to, the people playing maybe need to go to dir rooms if they fancy a play? And when I say "play" I dont mean tease I mean obvious play or people who come in the Wales room and say "Hi, im ____, my cam is on ladies, want to take a look?"
Just my thoughts and opinions, not here for a row with anyone whatsoever.

There was a time today while everyone was chatting as norm when a cple came into chat naked and the guy was rubbing her as you do ,then instantly the guys ears all pricked up and directing instantly started ,even tho there was 5 directing rooms open they chose too come in wales chat clearly looking for direction if people that direct get banned then i think people that look for direction should also or even not be allowed in room in begining then i dnt think this prob will arise |

you can get banned for encouraging direction, if more ppl reported the ones who are doing it all the time, then admin could take more steps to prevent it |

youve missed my point entirely if they cdnt enter chat then it wdnt happen,the old userplane chat is still avail too all communities on here ie wales ,scotland etc so i think that if fab turned that into chat only without cams which shouldnt be hard because its allready still functioning and leave the new chat with cam,s then everyone who likes too chat with cam on and will have too expect directing can go in there those that dnt can stay in old chat and just chat without any interruptions |

I know you must all think I am a parrot...but the best place to put any concerns/suggestions/ feedback about chat is in the Feedback chat section...Admin read the feedback sections first.
As there are a whole load of different subjects/ concerns/ suggestions on this thread, you might be all better starting individual threads in there rather than just the one.
