Totally not bringing this up because i've just watched a conspiracy video about it. But what do you think?

I personally think we've never been to the moon and that all moon landings are fake lol

I totally agree with you & there's a lot of evidence to support that point of view, how have we not been there since would be an easy place to start X

I know right! there's just too much evidence to support that we never went than that we did!

Also its weird how its the closest celestial body to us and yet NASA has said it doesn't plan on doing any more moon missions!

Luckily though Elon musk and his space x company are planning on going there, i wonder if he'll find anything he's not supposed to x

Or the moon landing could have proved pointless and this is why they've started exploring Mars instead because there's more potential there. I love a good conspiracy theory, I'm more hoping the landing was real but there doesn't seem much to gain or harvest from the moon.

I thought the moon missions were cancelled due to the colossal expense involved and lack of enthusiasm of the American public, who’s interest had waned massively between Apollo’s 11 and 17. Plus, there was probably nothing much up there worrh going back for - seen one moon rock, seen em all!

If you know someone with a decent telescope, you can point it at the landing zones and see the stuff left up there. Then of course there are the laser reflectors left there for scientific experiments that they bounce lasers off to check the distance to the moon.

we have never seen any hubble space telescope images of the section of the lunar module/s that were left behind after blast-off. if they were there wouldnt hubble be able to resolve them?

the usa were losing the space race (and the vietnam war!). think about it...

1st satellite -ussr

1st dog in space -ussr

1st man in space - ussr

1st woman in space - ussr

1st space-walk - ussr

1st un-manned lunar landing - ussr

the usa was desperate for some good publicity and they had hollywood expertise to help them perhaps?

faked? i think so.

I don't believe in large-scale conspiracy theories solely because people can't be trusted to keep quiet.

From what I've read, the "evidence" that shows the landings to be fake can be easily disproved. The physical evidence left behind at tranquillity base, while it can't be seen from earth, has been documented by non-American sources who have no reason to support the conspiracy.

The Lunar Laser Reflector Experiment also proves that contact was made with the moon at the time of Apollo 11 when the lunar retro reflector was left behind. Observatories around the world can track it with lasers and have done so since it was placed.

As has been mentioned, we've not gone back after the string of Apollo missions purely because it's been done and the science gain isn't worth the cost of more missions.

That and the space nazis who still live on the moon.

The reason we can't see the landing sites with telescopes (including Hubble) comes down to their resolving power. Hubble's lense is 8ft wide yet the lunar lander base only shows up the size of a pixel. To be able to see the flag from earth would take a telescope 200m across.

Of course there's a lot of evidence from US lunar probes of all the landing sites but they're all owned by NASA so obviously they're just photoshop

Some people even believe that there is a supreme being that punishes us if we don't visit it every sunday or every day or we'll burn in fire for ever .

We did get to the moon but much of the footage used is fake because the quality was so poor.
