Looking for information.
We are visiting Newport at the end of September and were hoping for a couple of nights out.
So the question is..... what is there for us out of towners to get up to in Newport on a Friday and Saturday night ? |

"We may drive in to Cardiff if there is more night life there.
Best to go straight to Cardiff, you'll have a much better night."
We have things to do during the day, but may heading straight to Cardiff, late afternoon. |

"Train is easier to get to Cardiff, only a few £ return.
Run regular, station in Newport center and Cardiff center but last train is 11 I think u better check."

"Potters Bar near the bus station is nice and have live music on certain nights. Not sure of when those are there as I've only been in there in the week for a few meets "

"Potters bar I’m sure it’s friday and Saturday night got music if nice weather rooftop bar is nice there with the outdoor heaters "
