Everyone is nervous of their first social no one likes to go in alone, whatever your anticipating it’s going to be nothing like that, socials are very friendly very laid back events, no play socials are strictly no play but that doesn’t mean you can’t click with someone and make an arrangement for later once you leave, it’s jusy an evening out with friend you’ve not met everyone in the room has something in common with you, do ice breaking convo should flow, you wil get introduced to other fabbers and always someone will chat with you, you’ll have a laugh a few drinks and banter just relax once you’ve been to one you’ll lose the nerves and once you’ve been to one there will always be someone you’ve already met at the next and so on xx |

I love the socials, have made some fantastic friends and probably one of the only reasons I'm still here.
I persuaded him to put his name down and he's understandably nervous, as was I.
Your experience is obviously different but this comment is slightly unhelpful (understatement) |

I attended my first social 4 years ago on my own as a single fem. Expected everyone to be model types and totally out of my league. I was so wrong. It was awesome and I never looked back xx |

Why not just make the first social, social only no play. Take the pressure off.

As a couple our first social we were a little nervous.
Luckily for us (we must of looked obvious) the Swansea group sat on our table before the night and got talking to us, settled us in and sine been to a few. Met so many nice people.
Got us thinking, we have missed the last 2/3 Socials as Vanilla life has taken over. Got to get back as where missing our nights out. |
