There's many choices on Fab about what body type we all are. Im ample but get told off for this yet I don't fit into any of the categories. What type would you be that's not in the body type section |

Just think honesty is the only way to go as to avoid disappointment, nothing wrong with what you are what ever size, as everyone has different tastes, and personally my likes change all the time but nothing worse than expecting something and meeting someone completely different

Slim / athletic: size 10 and below
Average: size 10-14
Curvy: can be again size 10-14
Ample: size 16-18
Fabulous: size 20 above |

I do hate these descriptions as so much is down to interpretation.
I have seen profiles where the lady is no more than a size 10 described as fabulous or ample and other larger ladies described as average (hate that word anyway).
There is nothing wrong with describing yourself in any way you see fit but chances are (as this thread proves) other peoples interpretation will be completely different.
This is the reason I just went with large! |

I'd like to have chunky monkey as mine but saddly I too settle for ample. I'm a dress size 16 and have also been told that's the wrong description for me . But I do not class myself as curvy and wouldn't want anyone to be dissapointed lol xxmiss |

I think the whole idea of categorising should be removed. The majority of people have photos on their profile, mainly from the neck down. So why do we have to list something that people can see for their own eyes? A picture paints a thousand words.

I always warn my social meets that I’m soft and squishy, I’m reminisce of a squishy stress ball. I feel odd at first but you soon get used to it. My socials go well & they make a play date after. I feel better because I’ve warned them, they’ve seen me & they still wanna play. So I just enjoy my time playing, If they don’t like what they see then they don’t ask to play. It’s that simple, I don’t dwell on it. It is what it is.
For me that is, everyone is different, so it’s subjective. |

But the average person in Britain is atleast classed as overweight, with obesity on the rise.
I'm 5'11 and at 13st i'm classed as overweight (just), where as some on the street would probably call me slim.
Perceptions and reality eh.
Anthony Joshua would be obese, but its where the weight is......I doubt many would say no to that body lol.
Luckily I like ladies with curves and the descriptive 'pigeon holes' that fab gives us don't allow for different bodyshapes.
I've seen many a profile name like'hot arse' and look and think, you haven't hardly got an arse lol. So what people think of themselves and what people think of them can be totally different to. |

It's particularly difficult fur to interpretation .. everyone is different and even those of the same dress can appear very different because for figure ..
I class myself as curvy .. I have an hour glass shape - but I'm no size 10..
I'm a sucker for a pretty face.. it trumps body type for me anyway |

I honestly think body type doesn't matter it's how you hold yourself---I'm honest enough to say the larger lady doesn't instantly attract to me yet I've met a few who hold theme selves very well and it's very hot!!!--aslong as your happy in your own skin who gives a toss I think |

Size isn't a description of body type though. I love the female shape, it's much more aesthetic than a male. And if it's curvy and classically feminine then it works for me in all sizes. If I had to express a preference for size then I'd say medium chicks are my favourite. |

I think everyone sees things differently. My one daughter who is a size 8 5ft 4 and I would say she is slim/curvy as she has a nice pair of boobs and a nice round bum. My other daughter is a size 10 and athletic . 5ft 9 long legs small boobs and not much of a bum.
Others probably would see them differently.
Shame there is no Fat Fecker option on here as I would choose that |

To me someone has to be tall to be athletic, men over 5ft 10 women over 5ft 7 but that is just how I see it.
