"Anyone off to Brecon Jazz? Where's the best place to stay and go? Never been before! Any recommendations? " you be very lucky to find accomodation this late and parking is a no go around Brecon if I was you I'd look at their web sight see if there is any camping locally if not I'm afraid it's your car that will be ur bed for the weekend x |

I've been booked up for weeks lol! I love the Jazz festival, the weather looks a bit poor for this weekend but it should still be good x |

"The Jazz weekend is a pain in the arse, I'm sure the local business's love it, but for the locals it's something to be endured rather than enjoyed lol. "
I think many towns in Wales have events that take over the place these days and the holiday resorts can be like that for weeks at a time.
It can be a pain, but they do help the profile of Wales and the local areas.
I used to enjoy Brecon Jazz - an intoxicating (in more ways than one) mix of beret-wearing jazz-hepcats and paralytic valley folks throwing the up in the street at 1pm . |

Only now read these messages. Did end up going and ended up staying in the Castle Hotel for the night. How I managed it I have not got a clue. Was a great night overall. Still recovering!! Will definitely be returning next year |
