SPREAD BIT HAPPINESS THIS SOCIAL GUYS,IM DOING THIS ONE AS A BIT KIDDIES FUND RAISER FOR MR X APPEAL WHICH GOES TOO LOCAL KIDDIES,This appeal been running 50yrs now so thought we could all lend a hand ,will make a huge differance too little kiddie on xmas morn that would otherwise get nothing .All im asking is for you too bring a small gift on nite of social too help this cause ie(board games,footballs,books,selection boxes,all which wont cost you more than price of cple drinks ,if you not coming too social but still want too donate pvt message us and we,ll sort something .SO COME ON GUYS THIS WILL MAKE A DIFFERANCE ,ANY QUESTIONS PLZ PVT MESSAGE ME IL GET BCK TOO YOU ASAP ,THATS IT JUST ADD OUR NAMES TOO LIST ,MANY THANKS ALL XXXXXXXXXXXXX   |

Everyone wishing to go to this social should be asking others if they want to come as well, without numbers the Swansea social will cease to exist.
If you want to see this event continue promote it people, the organisers can only do so much, but with all the hard work they put in and lack of interest on the members part it is starting to look bleak.
The Swansea social has always been there for as long as I can remember, yes it has changed hands a few times, but then so have most socials, but keeping a social network for the South and West Wales communities is important.
So please everyone it is you duty and in your interest to promote this event and help build it back up to a point we all know it should be.
I take my hat off to Fastnfurious for taking on this event in the first place, they did it solely because they didn't want to see it come to an end, and because they knew how much others enjoyed attending, so lets get it back on track and make it what it is supposed to be, and that is "FUN" |

have to agree with rich and joan just a shame that half who attend the cardiff one dont put the effort in to attend the swansea ones ,would be a shame if they stopped running . |

What respect got to do with it ? and where I have been rude ?
just makeing a point that if you make a statement like that then you should back it up, anything less is hypocrissy, you can google hypocrisy if you like it may explain a few things.

hey guys this is not a discussion thread its a list of names for the social which as you know if gets out of hand will be stopped by a mod this one a xmas one for trying too raise few things for kiddies ,if you really want too argue start another thread plz |

These socials really aren't our thing due to the single guys (don't start the hate mail pls, we're all entitled to an opinion) but is there any way we can make a donation to your charity please?

hi us2933 firstly i thank you for the thought of donating even tho your not attending ,only way i can think of is if someone you know locally to you is coming they could bring it ,secondly im very interested how youve come too the conclusion of single males at socials lol,in the 6 yrs we been going too the swansea one ive never seen any incident until recently with one guy who was insulting too the ladies,he was then ejected from the pub lol,most guys add their names too the list and are never seen or heard of again,we got a few regs who turn up and i trust in my home for the after party ,so one incident in 6yrs ie around 72 socials good odds i think lol so im very intrigued by how youve come too that assumption xxxx |

We know a cpl thats going so we'll sought out a donation as it's a great cause.
The single guy thing isn't down to anything thats happened, we just choose not to socialise with them. Therefore we don't attend any clubs or parties that allow single guys.
It may be hard to understand but it's just a prefrence of ours and a lot of other cpls. It's not ment as a critisum honestley, it's just a preference. We'd never tell others not to attend because for some they are great nights, just not our thing. |

Please can I come to the Swansea social this evening Sorry its a late request but only just been photo verified and back from away, Ive heard from friends that they are a good meet and would love to attend,if I can come please let me know where it is being held and at what time, I will come with gifts for the children, thanks and I hope to see you all later. |

Thank you for the invitation to the Swansea Social yesterday. Eva and I arrived about 8.30pm, but unfortunately we didn't stay long as it wasn't exactly what we were expecting. We assumed that we would be able to meet and chat to others, but the very, very loud disco made that an impossibility. Moreover, we also felt that the location wasn't particularly nice as it lacked atmosphere and comfortable chairs.
I except that it is nice to have music at such an event, but when the music is so loud it makes little sense in making the effort to attend. It's possible that if yesterday was an example of previous Social's, could be the reason why many couples don't bother to attend.
I appreciate that it's difficult to cater for all tastes and age ranges and it's likely that the age range at such an event could be between mid 30's to 50+.
I suspect that many people who attended yesterday really enjoyed themselves, but I thought it would be good feedback if I gave our reasons for leaving early. This is not meant to be a malicious or nasty comment about the event but a truthful assessment of our experience.

We had a fantastic time last night at the social..good location, very friendly peeps and I even had a wee dance..sexy 20 mins in Ladies..standard ..great fun .
Thanks to the organisers .we wll def go again . x |

Great again guys. There maybe a point in the loudness not everyones taste. Shouting at every covo becoming wearing. However the venue is fine and relaxed. And you do a great job at it. soon guys x |
